Sythe PR Team - feedback & suggestions

If you can recall, I set up all sorts of threads that helped us fundraise and ways to create some income for our group, but it all went to shit when leaders changed hands. To be frank, all Sythe can currently offer is a small size userbase with an established market. Correct me if I am wrong, but we don't have a major pinpoint that we can actually use to benefit other sites. Our market is mainly focused on RS, which is declining.

I mean, you'll get that one or two new members here and there, but you won't get anything like what we had before. The members quality went down and this site really tuned into a big spam forum. Really, I think people just outgrew forums. All my opinion I guess..

No and it wont work with just 1 account. Havent read how it works exactly but to my understanding 1 Reddit account can create a small bit every x amount of time. With a group you can make a drawing by coordinating everyone their small bits. A Sythe advertisement in this case.

Cuz its hyped. 70k people doing it atm servers cant handle it. Im brb in 30-45min and on PC. Will try it myself then.

It's working for me. Right there somewhere we would want a Sythe advertisement (if we target the /r/2007scape reddit).

@Soul @Aroxez @Sneaky Fish5 start working, make something for the community, like an event, to start working on an advertisement. Make a plan.

 

Just checked and when you click on pieces you can also see who put a piece where, so might be handy to not use an account which can be linked to something. I got 3 accounts which can help make something.

This is a great idea. PR should make an event and give out miniranks or something of the sort to users who contribute to a Sythe.org logo created on the canvas. It would be seen by millions of people and would possibly expand the community of the website.

The article you linked says that it doesn't last long after the 1st. Does that mean they'll close it or what?

 

Dunno dont think they'll close it that soon seeing how active it is. Just hurry up and make a plan before the hype dies. Why arent @Aroxez and @Soul replying saw them both looking. What other members does the PR team have.

 

We have already talked about it and it is in action. We have other things that we are working on right now so don't expect me to stop everything I am doing to start something else, especially when there are already enough incomplete projects in PR as there are. Thanks for the suggestions.

 

The thing with the other projects is that the other project can probably be done whenever, not time specific. I cant think of anything with as much potential as this that is time specific, dont do it now and you missed a great opportunity because you prefered to work on that epic raffle or Twitter giveaway.

I didn't reply right away because I have no idea how to even use reddit so I went and tried to investigate and figure out what the whole situation is about, sorry about that, kind of in the dark here

 

Pretty easy really. Everyone can make a small square every x amount of time. Gather a few people making squares working together and you can make a normal letter like 'L'. A bigger group and you can make a fancy 'S' like Sythe has. An even larger group and you can make a nice little advertisement for Sythe right under the /r/2007scape logo which a lot of people look at.
