This thread will serve as a communications tool between the Sythe PR team and the Sythe community, showing what the PR team has accomplished monthly. The information posted in this thread does not show the ongoing work that the PR team does such as but not limited to:

• To create content that will be posted on our various social media page(s) included but not limited to articles, promotional work, graphics work
• To increase activity in the site through our work
• To serve as "the face" of Sythe, be helpful around the forums and helping direct new members around the website
• Refer people outside of Sythe to Sythe and leaving positive reviews on various websites

What the current goals are for the team:

• To grow our social media accounts
• To utilize markets that encourage trading and get people from these markets using Sythe (Think less Runescape, more CSGO)
• Collab with CDT and their leader to bring back a version of Sythe News Monthly, or something similar as it was really well received.
• Find stable advertisement spots outside of Sythe
• Work with the TCT on properly advertising the Sythe RSPS and assist the CDT with events that pertain to people participating on the RSPS

December 2016

The PR team has gone over a massive remodeling through the month of December.

• Tyler and Im Solo took over as the new leaders
• Hahanerd joined the team
• Gun joined and left the team
• Aroxez, Soul and Really Swell left the team

With the member changes it was necessary to make some changes in how the team works
and operates so that we are never in a situation like we just were again.

This included making solid rules on the application process of new members, we also created
a new system of voting for our team leaders every quarter. We implemented this in hopes
that leaders don't get too comfortable in their position. It will always be a competitive
position voted on by the members themselves, rewarding those who do their job well.

Events:

December brought the PR Team two separate events

1. PR Raffle which was to help raise funds to put towards future projects in the team

2. PR Instagram give away which was an attempt at spreading one of our social media
platforms.

General:

As the PR Team it is our job to try to attract new members to the site. We have multiple ways to do this, recently we have been trying to increase our social media influence by reaching out to communities that we are not currently in contact with. We are trying to bring a bigger audience to some of our lesser used markets. Please keep in mind most of these accounts have only been worked on for a couple weeks so far. We have also been reaching out to other media accounts that have shared interests with Sythe in hopes that we can work together to help grow. This includes reaching out to streamers be on the lookout for this.

We are still releasing YouTube videos with Sythe updates which seemed to be something that the community enjoyed quite a bit. Stay tuned for our 2016 wrap up by IfreshMez!
