Sythe PR Team - feedback & suggestions

Nothing truly being accomplished from what I can see. Leadership has not provoked community involvement outside of offering up a csgo knife

 

Mind providing some constructive criticism instead of just saying what we are doing wrong? Maybe suggest something?

 

As if I haven't done so in the past and you morons do the exact opposite resulting in no increased activity or traffic. Great job.

 

Well we've got some new "morons" who haven't heard you amazing suggestions so mind reiterating for us newbies?

 

What do you think is the main reason why theres a lack of progress? I recently just got back into being active on this site hence I have no clue whats been going on/whats happened. Is there just a general decline in active members on the site or what do you think?

 

I posted on this thread on January 21st asking for updates, and then 3 months passed by and no updates were even posted. Advertising for a RS blackmarket/gaming forum is like trying to revive a dead dog, just ain't happening.

 

100% the old PR team did more, they had all ththe social media accounts going and Reddit was still being used, now not so much is happening, PR is just as useless as the TC right now, for all we know what is even happening with sythe rsps now

I think the issue is that people are curious as to what is happening within the group and what sort of positive improvements are being made.

 

Lots of things never get approved. We've helped push for Dota 2 Market though and Automatic PMs.

At my time Sythe never replied to compensation for a Youtuber in the PR, nobody is going to spend a lot of time making Youtube videos for Sythe for free.
When I contacted the leaders of major forums and other parties which could benefit Sythe, a question I got is "what can you offer". No reply from Richard either.
Cant remember all the things that Sythe didnt reply to, been over 4 months now that I left, but he pretty much never replied/approved stuff.

Assuming Sneaky Fish means these kind of things.

Oh yes a topic that was re-occuring time and time again was funding for the PR team. You cant expect forum members to spend their OWN money to benefit YOUR site. There are people like Mootrucks which are willing to, but I definetely wasnt. Sythe never really gave a decisive answer on fundings either.

 

This 110%, funding isn't THAT big of a deal mainly the getting stuff approved though. I agree funds would help though.

 

Tbh the first point I named needs funds, the second point as well. After I got demoted PR held a CS:GO giveaway which needed fundings and was funded by PR members. In my personal experience fundings are at the core of PR. Without it the output is close to the money that is put in it: if Sythe is spending 0$ the output is close to 0 people.

I was (somewhat) succesful in getting people to Sythe because I basically spent €1000 on marketing. I could re-sell the items that I bought for €1000 for more, of course, but I still spent a lot of my money on stuff that I would otherwise have not bought or done differentely.

 

€1000 is some money us PR members don't have unfortunately ;(, we try to do the best we can though and sometimes pay out of our pockets like you mentioned Mootrucks. Any idea to get funding in the first place from someone other than Richard?

 

Yea we came up with some ideas. Shortly before I got demoted we held a raffle where people could buy a ticket for 2M to enter the raffle. This money the PR team kept a percentage of (dunno what percentage anymore). Might even be that that money is still not spent on anything lol. Think it was like 13$ so you got that going which is nice.

Another good idea we had was to contact gold selling sites like CDT does. For example if Bogla is active in CS:GO beside Runescape you could try to collab with a CS:GO site and ask Bogla to fund it.

Something totally different but I think was a pretty good idea is to ask for discount codes from gold sites. Ask them to make it so like 10 people can use the discount code and then post it on the Sythe Twitter. This way you get followers on Twitter in a natural way.

I've fixed over 500 bugs by myself. I fix bugs almost everyday.
