Is suicide right or wrong?

You do have free will, but there are consequences for doing the wrong things. Nobody is trying to convert you nor are we [Christians] threatening you, as for the "proof of existence" part, it is all faith, and my faith is strong.

On Topic: I think suicide is wrong, and yes it is a sin. As stated above, it is also the act of coward I believe.

Suicide is The most selfish thing in the world.

Not only are you ending your life, But in many cases
"end" family members lives as well.


Many kids commit suicide yearly, and honestly if i could ask them one question, i'd ask why. I mean what is so bad that you cannot live. Nothing. If you have no money, no education, no family, No friends, No social life, You can still make something of yourself. Suicide is Bullshit, i've had a very close friend Commit suicide at 13 years old. It is nothing to joke about. You know, She was a great friend.

well, committing suicide is brave. but stupid really stupid

to commit suicide you have to override the basic human instinct of "survival" to kill a human being is a really easy thing to do. (physically)i mean to snap a some one's neck takes 60 pounds of pressure. and most people can make 50 pounds with one hand. but overriding the basic instincts take A LOT of balls. if it was so easy to kill our self's don't you think most of us would do it the first time we got depressed ?

Suicide is done because of a mental state, not because they want to be selfish. My father tried to commit suicide and i never once saw it as selfish, instead i just asked why and tried to help him. I forgot that just because you have something wrong with you, that means you are selfish.

 

everyone has the right to choose wether they want to live or die, if they want to make the choice and take there own life i say go for it. thats there choice.

 

I kinda laugh at suicide.. esspecially the fact the christians around me always get pissed when I say its a sin but its the honest truth.

If you are going to kill yourself do it. The goverment/Goverments don't need to spend money on suicide prevention

 

In my opinion, suicide is not wrong. It's your own business if you want to take your own life. And by throwing you in a mental hospital, the government is taken away your God given rights.

If you feel depressed and you don't want to live any more, I've got nothing against it. I do, however, feel sad if someone close to me committed suicide without giving me a chance to help him though.

 

My honest opinion on suicide is it is someone who does not deserve life, i have noticed people that wont to live die, and people who wont to die end up living and going to rehab! It honestly fuck's me of man, they do not deserve life because they obviously dont appreciate what they have.

Why would it be right? This life is a gift, you are given a brain to think with and hands to make things with and eyes to see beautiful things with, and then you go and kill yourself because you can't take the pain. I've been put in that situation before but then came to my senses and realized that I was going to die one day anyway and stopped being such a pussy and lived through the bullshit I was put into.

 

Im not religous and I think you should be allowed to put to sleep (Like if u r in alot of pain and hospitalized etc.) Its kinda how ppl put animals to sleep to put them out of ther misery I think you should be able to opt for that. Note: You must watch out for depressed people as depression is an illnis and CAN be treated with the correct help and medication.
