Legalize Marijuana?

^ I completely agree. Make it the exact same and tobacco except better because it actually has good benefits.

I do not smoke or drink or anything like that because I know it is bad for my health and mind, but I don't agree with mary j being illegal because it's the same as any other thing that gives you a buzz.

This would cut down on A LOT of crime and drug trafficing too. There have been countless fights at my school over mary j because someone sold them some bad stuff or things like that. If it weren't illegal you could just go up to the store and buy it and there would be no problem.

plus if it became legal and taxed id probably still go to my dealer, chances are it'll be cheaper from them than the shops. they should make it legal but they shouldnt sell it in stores and tax it, i hate giving the government money....

 

In canada atleast with free health care my tax dollars pay for your bad choice when you're in hospital recieving treatment for it.

Well that's another problem with socialized medicine - you invariably have to make people not do things to keep costs at a manageable level.

 

100% for marijuana to be legalized really no harm i wouldnt allow people
to drive while under the influence like Alcohol but still legalizing it would stop most crime.

 

I am against it. There is nothing that would say that people wouldn't buy from the legal place, put a lot of bad things (arsonic, rat poison other stuff that gives fake HIGHLY dangerous highs for cheap) and selling it for cheaper than legal price, causing innocent people to get dangerously sicker than they have to...

 

Well I'd assume that shop wouldn't stay in business long if all their customers were dying!

But really, even if marijuana was incredibly dangerous there's no you should be able to tell me I can't use it.

 

Its isn't a problem. I just stay health and make the right choices towards my health and some fuck wad ignores all health warnings and does it anyways. BTW I would much rather live with Canada's system than America's... watch sicko.

 

I'm for it. As I'm a smoker, and medical is legal in my state (California) and I plan on getting it when I turn 18 and buying from different dispensaries located in California. And regarding people that think it should be legal, and give the reason that the government could tax it: well they technically can't, because people can still grow it and sell it to others without the tax, and therefore, the government isn't making the most cash possible.

 

If you are trying to take away my rights, then yes, it is a problem.

I'm saying all drugs should be legal for everybody on the basis that I own my body, not you.

 

People are always influenced by other people's decisions though. A six year old kid seeing a bunch of teenagers smoking marijuana and enjoying it will obviously try it too, if it were legal at the time. He's just a kid, and kids are always curious. How would that affect his body if he tried it and got addicted to it at such a young age?

 

Too dangerous, too powerful, can easily be exploited because most people know how to make their high 20x better illegally, if it were legalized that is. It would whore too many peoples lives take too many

It probably wouldn't be good for him, but that isn't really my problem, it's his parents.

Probably campaign against the use of weed. Still, just because I had a bad experience with something doesn't mean it should be banned. (And it's impossible to od on weed so I doubt anybodys died directly from it)

 

If you didn't know, you can get doctor's recommendation if you're a minor with parental consent and medical history. If you have an old script for Xanax for anxiety or anything like that just get your mom to drive you to the doctor's office and sign off on the paperwork and shit. I'm not sure but I THINK you need to be 18 for the dispensary card, but you can still smoke it legally underage if you get your mom to take you.

 

A kid cannot help being innocent and curious, that's a kid's nature, no matter how much the parent can tell him not to be. And even if so, and marijuana were legal, then the parent can do nothing about it because there's nothing wrong about it.

 

for because it helps with cancers and its not as bad as they say it is the only reason it was illegal anyways is because they couldn't tax it
