Legalize Marijuana?

I'm against any kind of smoking. I don't care if it has benefits it still gives you cancer in the long run. Inhaling smoke (No matter what kind) is always going to be bad for you and plus why pay for something with no amazing benefits, come one guys you only get dazed for a bit and feel like shit after.

so you say because you feel there are no benefits others may not feel different about this? and how does marijuana make you feel bad after as you stated, even if it did in you it may make another person feel better, and maybe in one's eyes they see it as amazing benefits, who are you to decide what is amazing to everyone whilst you can only feel your opinion and thoughts not the others?

 

Im neither as everyone deserves to do as they wish and alcohol is almost as bad as marijuana.

Why isn't it legal? Because the money hungry pricks who make $19 Billion a year would be out of business if a "grow-at-home" drug which gives you 100x more effects than tobacco does and something that won't cause you to die earlier, or physically addict you to it came out.

 

people would smoke it just as people drink beer once it was made legal still to this day. using an example comparing an entire different culture and region doesn't provide much support in your opinion.

But it also makes you feel good, Which isn't what tobacco does, So its better really.

And i think if its legal alot of people wil smoke it, and alot of people will skip onto worse drugs such as Coke, LSD etc..

So theres advantages and disadvantages, But overall it should be legal - but not readily available from your nearest newsagent.

They should definately legalize it.

To the people that said its as bad worse as alcohol. In some aspects yes but if they were driving they would be more carefull and more concious of the situation in a way, to the point of getting paranoid if your driving good or driving the right speed etc more then an alcohol intoxicated carefree drunk would do.

Imagine you had a buisness with lots of employees. And you start drug testing and find that lots of your hard working employees are using marijuana. It would be uneconimical for the buisness to sack some workers who work hard and enjoy relaxing after work with a smoke. They still work all day and dont work any less then a non-marijuana using worker, but you judge them and exclude them from a job for the way they relax? Now that is stereotypical as it gets. I personaly for a fact know that marijuana is one of the BEST ways to relax.

How can you know what people think and people feel and how they work? Are you a mind reader? Can you predict the future?

I would be insanely happy to go on smoking herb and not wreak the bad effects of harder drugs like amphetamines and opiates, cannabis makes me happier then they ever could. If it was legalized it could create a shitload of jobs for honest people and take the cannabis ball out of the drug dealers court. Hundreds of millions of people spend billions of dollars on cannabis wich could be used to help poor people/nations. It can also be used for paper.clothing,food etc.

I said I was against all kind of smoking so no. What is the point of getting high? Think about it. If you do it as something social you're not cool, no one wants to hear you talking about how you got stoned on the weekend. If you do it for the effects you're either depressed and trying to lighten your self up (Proven not to work) or bored as shit (spending a couple of hours out of it just sitting in your basement). Plus this shit kills you, you would be better off to smoke cigarettes as they have a filter and definitely not laced with anything.

It's proven faggot. Maybe not when your high but after. Your mood goes up for a while then crashes lower. More teens that have committed suicide smoked marijuana sometime before they killed themselves. Also you are right I don't decide, it's your life, you're the one who is greatly increasing your odds of cancer. But don't worry when you get it, I heard kemotherapy was fun, feeling like you're about to die for the 3 weeks after your therapy followed up by another dose a week later. I bet you would enjoy that for some "amazing benefits" when you were young.

 

Go back to HEALTH CLASS MATE. If you want to bring out the same scare tactics and facts that Health Teachers bring out, do it in your health class.


I support the legalization of marijuana 100%. It is your choice to use it or not, and if people want it, they buy it from shady sources. If it was legalized, than the Government could regulate it AND TAX IT. There...taste them balls.
