What's the worst crime?

From a human perspective, I think rape is the worst crime. It completely takes away all dignity from the victim and can destroy self worth. Sometimes it is better to die.

 

It's a fairly pointless question to ask since it all boils down to what you consider to be the 'worst crime'.

 

I would say torturing which leads to death.
Meaning torture till you are dead. That is the worst crime that you can ever commit. Torture which includes sexual abuse too.

There was an article about a girl in China or Taiwan getting totally tortured,raped. With hot iron rod going through her vagina, burning cigarettes in her vagina, wax and etc.

 

Torture or harming children.

Murder isn't always bad.
Rape is made into a bigger deal than it actually is.

 

I think torture because your pretty much beat up until your dead

 

I've realized that raping is more a bigger deal compared to murder to be honest. It just leaves a mark in your life that you got raped etc.

 

Reading this thread actually makes me realize what a fucked up world we live in. I'd probably say murder because no one should have their life taken away from them with no reason.

I can't compare it with Murder, because they're both the lowest of the low, but I just feel that the fact that something such as Rape involves complete torture to a victim while they feel a mental pain which can't ever be re-placed and will ALWAYS affect that person, I'd take physical torture and pain over mental pain such as what Rape can cause. Murder, is also is only mental pain really, because obviously the victim who would be murdered can't feel any physical pain anymore, but leaves the mental mark on both the murderer and the anyone who cherished the victim and the victims life

 

Pedophila, Rape and for this people will probably say its nowhere near the worst but Animal Abuse i can't stand at all.

 

uhm i think the worst crime you could commit is mass murder? but realistically i would have to say torturing and raping someone then letting them live or giving them a gun to commit suicide.... that seems so fucked up

 

The question is so broad, people saying murder is the worst crime.. What about Genocide? Treason?

OT, torture. Some of the terrible things that can happen in torture are just unthinkable.

Murder for sure, because all crimes are capable of murder, which is the worst case scenario.

 

I'm surprised so many people are seriously saying rape is worse than murder. Would you personally rather be raped or murdered?

Although one could always say I'll never know since I'm not in that position, I think my decision would be pretty clear. I'd much rather be raped and able to live on, because, although tremendously painful, both emotionally and physically, it wouldn't destroy my resolve or ability to lead a worthwhile life.

 

Probably torture. I would rather someone just kill me right away than have my nut sack stapled to my forehead and nails jabbed into my eyes.

 

Murder. Taking someone else life is just plain wrong.

 

Although many acts like rape and torture are absolutely horrible and often taint life and ruin those involved I still think that murder is the ultimate crime as you literally wipe someone from the face of existence with no possibility of a second chance or any happiness or feeling ever again.

Me personally I would rather die than experience many slow and awful forms of torment like rape and torture, although on a scale of principle I think that murder is the kind of crime as there is nothing more you can do to a person.
