What I have noticed about Marijuana.

ive noticed many states have started to decriminalize it. Hopefully florida isnt to far down the pipeline.

 

It really needs to be decriminalized ASAP

 

It would not be counter-productive since it would most likely be state-taxed, meaning more regulated purchases = more money for the government to spend. If quality is substantial enough in a legally regulated substance, then it will additionally cripple any informal markets associated with it. A large part of why it is still illegal is some of society's seemingly misinformed view of the substance. A government would not intentionally limit people from buying something it taxes if there are little to no negative effects as a result of its consumption, since it would decrease government revenue.

 

people will always smoke weed no matter what so they might as well tax it

 

It should be legal already.
