I personally don't smoke ciggs, however I did have a 3 month phase where I smoked. After 2 weeks of smoking a pack a day and suddenly stopping, I finally understood why it takes so much effort to quit smoking. Nicotine withdrawal is HORRIBLE.

Tried the water method, and failed. I doesn't affect me whatsoever. Eating food whoever helps my craving for a smoke. Only problem though is that I gain weight too much now.

 

My grandmother stopped after 80 years of smoking by trying out e-cigarettes for a while. She soon after completely stopped those as well. That's what I would recommend to anyone.

 

Few of my friends who I work With have used chantix. It's a drug used to help you quit smoking. As a service member when we go to medical we can get chantix to help quit smoking and it has honestly helped some people in major ways.

 

I finally quit after 4 years of smoking , you just got to really want it.

I started smoking when I was 15. Smoked for a good 3 years. Let me tell you one thing, those people that say "oh this is my last box" or last cigarette, will not quit at that attempt. I just didn't smoke one weekend because I was busy with family shit and after that I thought hey what's the point, and I just stopped. It has been 4 years since I smoked.

If you want to quit, throw the box away right now, and never turn back, no thinking just do it.

stopping from this moment on wish me luck guys going be such a battle im a two box a day person, sometimes smoke 3 cigs in a row just to feel like ive had 1. Got to do this fed up of tight chest sore throat been smoking for 5 years
