Can you tell me why would somebody bother learning how to do illegal tactics of making money, such as, phising, cracking, hacking?

    Ask RSBots.net

Why can't we sell auth codes? Answer me that.

Why in earth would ANY company allow that - that just means less sales.

Just a thought - Don't programmers that protect computers and destroy viruses know all about how to make viruses and hack into systems? you cant stop someone from hacking if you don't know how they do it. Right?

I'ts their terms and conditions not the law. It's like how you buy and sell runescape accounts. You can't go to jail for it.
Very true. But with phishing you're getting somebody to email you your password and username. You don't need to learn it on how to do it.

    Look I'll phish right now.

Send me your username and password to [email protected] for $1000000000000000 on runescape.

With hacking and password cracking I don't know how they work so I can't say much about it. But, isn't cracking just getting a username, list of password and proxys? Put them into a program and let the program test the passwords out? Don't know what you can discuss besides "look at what I just cracked".

How many times do I have to fucking say this. NO ONE WILL FUCKING USE THEIR OWN SYTHE ACCOUNT TO HACK, PHISH, CRACK OR ANYTHING ELSE ON SYTHE. Ddos does not even require an account. If you try to do anything else above, you will be caught and banned within minutes. You want to preemptively ban people for something that a ban will not protect against. Your logic is flawed and I do not see why you do not understand that yet. There is absolutely no reason to ban people who discuss those things on other sites. None. At all.

Heres the simple version for you.

All of this "off site" crap is geared around the truth that it represents your character on the internet and frankly this site WILL NOT GROW if we allow these monkeys to be here.

yea because if you ask someone how a keylogger works and where to get one because you think someone has been going through your computer while your away or your gf is cheating on you that clearly proves that your a sick and evil fuck that does not belong on sythe...

    Umad?

I was trying to make him say it out loud to make him hear how stupid it sounds. And; to me, it does sound very stupid not to ban them.

Off-site shows their true character. If they're willing to discuss how to make illegal profits on a different website why won't they test it out?

As I said before, banning people do work as a deterrent. Didn't Syed only get into hacking after being banned from Sythe.org? Why was that? Possibly being banned had a big deal in it.

"this site WILL NOT GROW if we allow these monkeys to be here."

    Justify that.

He never did anything wrong. He became an idiot AFTER he was banned. That is a CLEAR example as to why you should NOT ban these people. Until he knew that he was banned forever, he did ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong. As soon as he knew that he was banned and it was staying, he did not give a shit anymore.

As for this true character shit. It does not matter in the slightest. There is no logical reason to ban them. If they "test it out" they will get banned very quickly. There is a logical reason not to ban them and Syed is a perfect example of that. Like Syed, if you ban someone they will not care anymore and actually take their offsite activities onto the site, and hurt actual Sythe.org members and then you can not stop them.

That's NOT even the point. And now it's getting way off topic....

    COMPARE:
Here on sythe you can NOT sell auth codes for rsbots.
Here on sythe you CAN sell auth codes for other applications.

And yes, someone could go to jail for selling auth codes for say.... photoshop, windows 7, vista. Big $$. End of discussion for this section because it's completely stray from offsite activity lol.

I support. Preemptive banning is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I've discussed ddos and stuff like that with Jethrox on kbot awhile ago before it was shut down. Does that mean I am a ddoser who is responsible for sythe being down all the time? Banning someone for what they know is stupid and immature. Their are 2 choices of actions that should be implemented on sythe concerning this topic.

    1. Ban members that are prooved hackers/ddosers/phishers and have performed any of these acts since joining sythe. Proof must be irrefutable.

    or

    2. Completely ignore all offsite activity and only hold users accountable for their actions on sythe. Example: if it has been proved that a user has phised accounts and tryed to sell them here on sythe then a ban is warranted.

For both options no user shall be banned for DISCUSSING anything no matter what. I have read info on what a ddos is and how key loggers work out of curiosity. That does not make me a bad person or guilty of commiting any offense.

Hypothetically if there was a user that was a mod on powerbot and sythe,
he scams $1000 with his RSGP business on powerbot and opens one up when he is banned from powerbot on sythe.

Pretty silly to not ban him

So yes, if the situation is harmful to sythe then offsite activites should be banned. Scamming 6 years ago shouldn't be bannable though... just silly.

IMO.. I personally believe that the only Outside ban's that should apply to Sythe.org member's are things that directly impact the sythe community (EXP: A fake sythe.org site such as sythee.org which is used as a phishing site). But things that do not impact the community/Forums should have no Ban Power. But thats just IMO.

    - Llama

EDIT: By "Impact" I of course mean in a Negative way.

    What's to say?

I've said my arguement. If you're discussing illegal techniques of making money - you're more than likely to do it. Else, why would you bother to do it?

So if a hacker hacks someone you'd rather let them join having a huge chance of them hacking/scamming the members of the community then to ban him?..

cosrob it's for the same reason people are interested in how people pull off roberies and such I might not be interested in doing it myself but its good to know how to prevent it from happening to me plus its just interesting to see how that kind of stuff works
