You don't need to experiment in those activity's or buy such products to figure out how they work. You can ask around and by a decent virus remover and lay off the porn.

Please re-read what I stated. Having a person who has hacked fellow members of the sythe community would be a Negative Impact on the Forums -> Therefor with proof he/she has done such as stated in the quote located above , the ban therefor would be a valid form of prevention and/or punishment.

SideNote: If your counter-claim argument is going to be that the "Hacker" has not hacked any sythe member yet, then let me state this. If the hacker is pre-known before joining the site by the community or a few individual member's as a person who takes others property (forum/rs accounts, paypals, ect.), then the
"Hacker" has already had a negative influence on the community therefor my argument is perfectly valid.

That doesn't really apply here. I can Google how to prevent a phishing scam and I shouldn't get phished. I don't need to go to a website, learn how to phish, set up a phishing website, test it out, to magically understand how not to get phished.

It's just interesting how to see how something illegal works? Sounds a bit stupid to me to be honest, but then again that's where Google comes in - it's one thing to learn about it - something entirely different to test it out.

Learning about something illegal is interesting in some cases and simply learning/discussing about something like ddos on another site should not be a bannable offense but on sythe it warrants a perm in some occasions. I also disagree with holding someone's past against them. If they haven't phished or hacked since joining sythe then banning them for no reason based on their past is wrong.

Invalid. There are plenty of other reasons besides making money. Interest, learning, curiosity, using your own knowledge to help others, etc. Secondly, making you more likely to do it is NOT a ban reason. I have explained this in previous posts, so that part is invalid also.

    Why?

There is a distinction between current and past offsite doings. Hackers need not have a Sythe.org account and thus banning their accounts does nothing of value.

if it doesn't effect you, why do you care?

Sorry, I don't like scum on Sythe.org. I'll go to HackForums and hack and do bad things but come put a halo on and be a nice person here? It doesn't work like that.

Your suggestion won't be approved, but keep arguing for it. You won't change my opinion.

I'l come here and be a good person here and go onto HackForums and put on a halo and talk about hacking. Your logic is invalid, sorry. If I will not change your opinion, stop pestering others with your illogical, asinine opinion that does nothing but hurt the community. Thanks.

See above. Plus, your logic is also invalid. There is no way to know if this "halo" will slip off and unless you prove it will, you have no argument.

SuF, what would you say about Ganzta-Freak and him being banned? If you didn't know he was promoted and banned 10 hours later for being into hacking.

    The reports here: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=946326

Being into hacking could keep him from being on the staff, for members safety as staff members are always highly trusted. However, he should not have been banned.

I still think that members who broke Sythe rules before joining should not be banned. If they continue to display those tendancies than they should be banned.

This is exactly what I think. If they do it before coming here they're allowed to stay here as they weren't forced to follow sythe.org rules, that being if they stop it when here.

There is a distinction between offsite activities that happened in the past and ones that are happening currently. Both need to be addressed.

Simple. Both currently warrant a ban.

I see what they mean, whatever situation that lead them to scam can be easily reproduced, if it isn't a trusted member i don't think many would support him not being banned
however if its an old and trusted member, set on stone codes won't be of much good, but who would stand for a subjective point of view.
A thing that is confuses us the most when thinking about sythe's rules is that sythe in itself is a black market forum. Talking about or showing interesting on sythe, would get you banned on runescape's forum.
Who was the subjective point of view that defined that trading gp is good but phishing accounts isnt?
Please take into account that the ruleset of sythe is very subjective and has no clear boundaries between right or wrong, those boundaries are in my opinion purely arbitrary.
So why enforce with such objectivity a matter that without discussion is entirely subjective?

It is not simple. You are not voicing your own opinion but rather you are simply stating the current state, which we all already know. Secondly, both do NOT currently warrant a ban but rather both receive a ban which is not right.

Where did you get that from? I'm saying, if somebody phished in the past (before joining sythe) they should not be banned after joining (only if they stop phishing). I've posted porn on 4chan before, should I be banned here?
