You have missed one of the most major points, being that hacking, phishing, keylogging, etc, do not require any special sort of account on Sythe for them to take place. People could use any new account and get about the same results with what ever they are trying to do, as trust is really not a big factor. Thus, banning these people makes absolutely no sense at all.

Sorry, but you're incorrect. People get banned for simply discussing things that are bannable acts here. Thus, many have not committed any offence.

If I understand you correctly (probably not) you're saying that, you don't need a sythe account to do the phishing, cracking, keylogging, and thus, banning them on sythe serves no point?

It serves as a deterrent to people who want to get into hacking, phishing, etc. I think it works as great deterrent. If it stops people phishing accounts and selling them here I'm all for it.

It's late here and I'm red as this lobster. Sorry if I read your response incorrectly.

Its as simple as this. If you do it off site its only a matter of time until you bring it here.

    End of Story.

I think it depends on what the other person is doing.

Can't go in depth, but you get the hint.

That analogy is terrible. Usually people do act like that, they just don't get cought by their parents. I find it hard to believe that people find it acceptable to go to other sites and scam, but would find it "wrong" to do here. What does that say about their character?

If you're discussing it to strengthen your defence against it, I don't see why that'd be a problem. But if someone is discussing a way to scam people it's not the same thing.

There's a fine line somewhere in there; just needs to be defined.

    Really?

If you recover an account you've sold, it sure seems like a scam to me.

Deterring them? There is absolutely nothing in the rules that states that Sythe.org rules apply outside of Sythe. People are not going to follow Sythe.org rules outside of Sythe because they are afraid of being banned on Sythe.

Show me proof. Wait, you can not because you do not have any. If "it" comes here, ban the person. Banning them before that will just make them evade and do "it" anyways.

Read my suggestion. A link is on the first page I think.

No one said it was an account you sold. He means recovering random Runescape accounts. Everyone used to do it back in the day to get cool names.

Are you sure about that? How about Lukef555. I'm sure he wouldn't of done it if he knew it was ban able offence.

A while ago (before he became known) he asked on hackforum how to spread a keylogger on youtube, or something like that. He another post about it and then never posted it again. I may incorrect since it was such a long time ago.

If he got banned for that then that is the most bullshit ever. Makes me think the admin/admins in charge of that ban are idiots.

I'm saying it as an example. You're saying it's stupid to ban people for doing stuff off-site. But I'm saying what if the off site affect sythe.org members? Should they not be banned for doing it and affecting sythe.org? What about if they recover my account and sell it here? Isn't that affecting sythe.org? They're selling stolen goods.
