    Banned for offsite activities?

Because they are selling it on Sythe, that would be ON SITE, making it a bannable offense.

Unfortunately, that is completely unrelated to the current thread as we are talking OFF SITE.

if someone says on another forum, "I keylogged the username Cosrob and I'm going to go make an account on sythe and sell the account." Ok then you should ban him because he brought the activity to the SITE instead of keeping it OFF SITE. Your saying that because someone knows how to get stolen goods that means they are selling stolen goods.

What is your definition of off-site?
Why do people learn how to make keyloggers if they're never going to use it? Why bother learning something illegal if you're never going to do it? Why bother going to jail if you're never going to do it.

he could be selling them on a different website while maintaining his rep by selling his accounts on sythe.

edit: The point is if you prove he is selling stolen goods then ban him. Don't ban him because of your over rated opinion about hacking without any evidence that he did something that negatively effected sythe.

So if somebody rapes their neighbour and keep it in their house - you're happy to share a house with him if he only rapes people in his house and not yours?

Learning about hacking does not make you a scammer...

It just means you have alterior motives for using a keylogger such as monitoring you computer so your mum doesn't look up p0rn on it.

    So?

    Perhaps not. Perhaps yes.

Invalid. Based on my suggestion, the "rape" in the other house would not be rape if you were still sharing a house with him. Why? If the offense is bannable on the other site, and they commit it, and are banned for it, then they will be banned on Sythe.

For some reason I never understand you...

What happens if I was the person who was phished off the other website, and the other site says it's legal? What would your ruling be.

Act like an adult, and stop making childish decisions. They know sythe.orgs rules after they joined, if they continue their behavior they're breaking sythe's TOS and should be banned for it.

If I call someone a bitch on facebook? Does that make it any different than calling them one to their face? No, of course not. You're one person and have one brain you can't have split personality's on one website to the next. They need to be responsible for their actions.

Then ban every illegal aspect. You can't just pick and choose what you want to ban for.

Actually Sythe can do whatever the hell he wants, it's his website. Any illegal activity online that can effect Sythe or its users should be or is already is a bannable offence.

They're obviously not going to ban you just because you stole a candy bar as a child and admitted to it. However if you still steal products and goods in real life and sell them on Sythe for profits and admit to it, that's bannable.

its just like if you are in another country, and you commit an offence there. Suppose you are in the RLD in Holland. If you do something there that is illegal in the states, the US police won't come after you...

But if you commit an offence there and spend 1 night in jail - you can be refused entry into the United states. (Can't remember if that's correct, but I'm fairly certain it is). So if they phish on another site they can be refused entry here.

Why would we let people who have scammed in the past or off site have the opportunity to here?

Cause supposedly people change, which is a load of crap. They either get popular on the forum or become a market fag to get pardoned for their past behavior.

Some people do change, Finn apparently used to scam, but most don't. I don't think we should give them the chance to prove that have changed because for every person that really has changed nine won't have - meaning nine Sythe users unnecessarily scammed.

You shouldn't say Finn used to scam... It implies he was a scamming mod but changed. He scammed 700k or so before he joined Sythe or something stupid.

But I agree with the rest of your post.

Phishing would most likely never be allowed. The discussion of phishing on the other hand may be. If someone is discussing phishing on another site, that allows it, they should not be banned here. Sythe.org's rules do not include the entire internet.

Most people on this website are young teens, and not mature at all. Secondly, Facebook to real life != Sythe to anywhere else on the internet. Facebook is personal, people you know. The internet is unknown, random people you have never met.

So I can go scam 700k and get off because it means nothing? Okay.

I was trying to tell him to words his word better. Not that you're allowed to scam.

I just didn't say it right.
