The thread disproves god entirely

God created each human being knowing what he is capable of and put him in a situation in which he would do evil. God had every power to take away the ability to do evil things, and to put people in situations in which they would do less evil. God takes the end fault for everything.

Eh its easily refuted, it was flawed from the start in a way. I want to post some better arguments like the argument from non-belief or some others, but I'm gonna wait until this thread dies.

All religions started as cults, you know, odd religious groups that were at odds with mainstream society, and fiercly evangelical.

 

I know its not Actually a "Cult" But its allot different from other Christians. For the simple fact that they add to the bible and try to pass it as gods word...Thats wrong to do. I don't like the catholic belief for the reasons stated before. Its just basically going against the bible in the parts that they add.

The idea of purgatory was simply thought up by some Pope in the middle ages, and for each sin you committed you had this many years before you entered Heaven and if you were a noble you could buy out your salvation; it was simply just one big scam put together by corrupt Priests and Popes, you can't simply discredit my way on how I take in Christianity just because of what happened about 700 years ago. And Catholics never added to the Bible.
And how is Catholic belief a cult? The Catholic sect of Christianity happens to be the most widely accepted, the most powerful and the first part of Christianity.
What are you some polygamist Mormon or some traitorous Protestant who hasn't come to the understanding that Catholicism doesn't have any corruption within it...

Actually Purgatory may have some ground to it. In the Old Testament there is a place spoke of called "Abraham's Bosom" which some Christians believe is the "holding place" for those who died before Jesus was resurrected. Now as far as it being viable today, who knows. I'm not saying I support Catholicism at all, I think its all corrupt.

It's funny how you think saying there's a purgatory is a bad thing. Purgatory is a last chance for you to get clean before coming into the Kingdom of God. I think that's probably where you whenever you repent and you finally accept and take God as your one true savior.

Was Jesus human? Yes
Was Jesus God? Yes
Was he born? yes
whom gave him birth? Virgin Mary
isn't the person that gave your birth your mother, or your biological mother? yes
then if all that is true, that means the Virgin Mary is Jesus/God's mother.

We respect her for being the Mother of God, we do not idolize. we ask her to help us by interceding for us to Jesus, that's not idolizing.
