Better yet, if people listed prices - they could use similar accounts being sold to check the reasonable market price So it's a PRO

Most people don't actually know the market value of accounts being sold because people don't mention it and they only find out what it is by having to add discords, send dm's.. etc.
Too much hassle for the buyer. The seller should do some research before hand - not the other way around.

I agree with it being completely up to the seller whether to put a public price out there or not.

At the end of the day, it should be down to the seller and how they wish to market their account, in practicality they're going to get the PMs and whatnot anyway?

If you go and post a thread with let's say a barrow glove account, and I do exactly the same does that mean both of our prices should be identical? Or should mine in fact be higher, simply because I am trusted whilst you are not?

There is no price guide because it's a free market, free market being they key word here and hence why I also mentioned GP and such too

 

You're not being realistic: have you seen how dead the price check thread is in comparison to the market threads? In addition, activating the price check thread in an effective way requires people who have extensive market knowledge to comment there and essentially help their competition. 1. What makes you think real price checks will be given, in contrast to price checks that are above real market value? 2. What incentive do people have to massively go around and give price checks?

 

What you choose to sell YOUR account at is your choice - that's the free market.
If the buyer wants to buy yours over mine, that's their choice - free market.
How does making the sellers put a price in their thread impact the free market?

If I am a scammer with 5 vouches selling for 50% of what yours is, and you have 1000 vouches, it's buyer beware - that's the free market.

The current method is free market right? the only difference is the seller knows the price and the buyer doesn't without having to do background work to find it? nothing affects the free market here?

 

If you don't want to waste time asking for a price and joining a bunch of annoying servers, just don't give them business

You're contradicting yourself. All your 'pros' in your OP boil down to spoonfeeding customers and now you're saying buyers should look more extensively into what causes price drops to certain accounts.

I'll explain YET again. Vouches mean something, so there for as it's a FREE MARKET what your suggesting makes no logical sense unless you was to do it to EVERYTHING which would include GP and such which quite simply isn't going to happen

I think maybe you're again missing the point behind vouches too, no one is saying that someone with 5 vouches "is a scammer", just simply that there is more implications of possible issues whilst not ruling out there could be in other scenarios as time has shown..

I'm selling selling zulrah and vorkath accounts (amongst others) and my prices are really non-static. When I'm low on stock or when market demand goes up, my prices go up too. And truly, I don't feel like updating my threads all the time.

It's more or less you making no sense what's so ever and as @President said contradicting yourself time and time again. If you're not able to actually put across a reasonable suggestion, one that doesn't completely teabag the whole website then you shouldn't be suggesting anything at all

 

So by that theory, my best way to get the best price possible for a max staker is to add 10 different discords and negotiate with the best price ones?

OR my suggestion: just view the best priced threads, and send the sellers offers.
