My story;
For those of you who don't know, Jonathan and I met online. We no longer date online since I moved from Australia to the United Kingdom. I want to know if you've ever dated online, if you're against it or for it?
I don't think people can choose who they fall in love with, love just happens. I support online dating because anyone can make it work if they believe they can.
If anyone does have any questions regarding online dating then ask away!

Back in August 2012 I met Jonathan whilst hunting Jadinkos on Runescape. He was an 'efficient' completionist cape player and asked if I knew how to hunt 'properly' since he was going for 200m at the time and thought he was all hot shit. I replied no and he offered to teach me. I added him to skype and he taught me how to hunt effectively. (most xp p/h without missing ticks)
One night I asked Jonathan if he wanted to watch me a movie with me. (we press play at the same time) he said yes and he called me on skype. This was the first time we had spoken to one another. After about 40mins into the movie 'Bad Teacher' I fell asleep, whilst still on mic so Jonathan ended the call.
The next day we spoke again and continued to speak everyday for the next week. Towards to end of August I had to go on a family holiday to Bali, which is where my oldest brother was getting married. We still spoke whilst I was on holiday as much as we could. Eventually I got back from my holiday and my feeling towards Jonathan were stronger than ever.
We continued to talk and eventually the conversation of meeting IRL came up, it never seemed like a realistic idea since I wasn't working and was living off fortnightly Centrelink payments. (I was renting a room) Jonathan was about to start his first year of University so he suggested that he came in his first break over Christmas. As I joke I replied, why can't you come next weekend. So from there he booked a plane ticket for the 7th of September. His parents didn't really agree, but since he was funding the flight himself they couldn't really tell him he couldn't go.
7th of September came around and I remember going to the airport and thinking to myself 'what if he isn't here, what if he doesn't like me, what if this is just a joke?'.. I remember being on the phone in the airport to my fiend Ben trying not to cry cause I was so scared. Then I saw this tall, fluffy haired spotty boy walk through the doors and I looked down at my phone hoping he wouldn't see me. Not because I didn't like him, but because I was so shy! He walked over too me and we had the most awkward hug and he kissed my head. We walked toward the Taxi rank and went back to my house.
During the 11 days he was here we did all kinds of stuff
> Went to Caversem wild life park and fed Kangaroos
> Went to Perth Zoo
> Went for walks around Perth
- We couldn't really do much since I didn't have any money cause I still at this time wasn't working.
The 18th of September came around and it was time to say goodbye. This was the hardest moment in my whole life. I didn't know if I would see him again, if we would still talk any more. I had never cried so much in my life. I remember my dad picking me up and watching him wave goodbye as I drove away.. It was so hard, I was so sad and this was the moment I told myself to get off my ass and get a job.
So I did, about three weeks after Jonathan left I got a job at Harvey Norman (Australian and Irish will know what this is) and I worked 38 hrs a week saving as much as I could to fund my visa and plane ticket to the UK so I could see Jonathan again (approx $2,000 for flight and visa).
Jonathan booked another ticket to Australia for 3 weeks over this Christmas uni-break. This time was better since I moved back to my mums, we bought a cheap car ($1500) so we could get around and visit more places. I still worked for he 3 weeks Jonathan was in Australia so he had to entertain himself throughout the day. He sun bathed and spent time with my family. January the 4th came and Jonathan left once again. This time wasn't as hard to say goodbye because he had already booked a ticket back for March 16th. The weeks between the second visit and the third went so fast, we still spoke every night and every morning. I continued to work which kept my mind busy.
March 16th! Jonathan's last visit, we still had our car but we ended up selling it since this was the last time Jonathan was coming back to visit me cause I had booked a ticket to fly back with him! After months of dating online and Jonathan flying to Australia three times I got to go live with him. Which was amazing... I flew from Perth to Dubai on the 31st of March and landed in Newcastle Airport on the 1st of April 2013.
and here we are now...
