Do you believe when you die that....

I believe an infinitely existing universe is the simpler explanation according to Occum's razor than an infinitely existing God. Regardless, physics theories have little application towards a creation theory - namely because the properties of physics were nonexistent before creation. That is to say, thing as simple as gravity, were only formed POST "creation" point.

Science is based off finding the most rational explanation for a given event. It acknowledges that itself is subject to a better explanation or even to error. This is how religion and science differ.

 

Although Science may explain rational things, it can't explain everything. Especially after death, we will simply never know.

 

Well yeah it can't explain everything, that doesn't mean you need to make stuff up to fill in the gap though.

This is my opinion.

I have never been one that goes to church. I think I have been to church once in my life. My theory is one of rebirth. I've read about many people who claim that being reborn is an option. I truly believe that being reborn is an option after death. Do you ever find yourself thinking about being reborn? What you would be like? What your name would be? What kind of life you would have? If you're a boy or a girl?

I think life is just a soul's experience. When a person is "reborn" they typically don't remember anything (or so they say). I dont think I would want to remember anything, missing the people in your other life.

Im glad I have this entire life to live. Its hard to think that one day everything you know, could come to a halt.

Less depressing topic please.

Anyway, I think that when you die, you die, your body just shuts down and life ends. However, I want to think that I would get reborn, I think death is a big reason why people are still into religion in the modern age. Humans strive to find answers, and if they can't find any then that isn't good enough. So they may even take to beliving irational things, just so they can feel safe and secure. I don't think there is anything wrong. The ideal death for me, and for everyone else would surley be CHOICE. We can go to heavan, or we can be reborn. Or whatever! I'm scared of death beacuse I am young, but once I have lived my life and have done what I have wanted to do, I will be happy to be out of here =)

On topic: I don't believe in anything happening after you're dead. When you die, that's the end. I would like to be reborn/go to heaven/nirvana or whatever though. As long as the ones believing in hell for sinners and non-believers aren't right, it's all good

 

Carbon dating, fossils, It's very possible to prove and 4.6 billion years old.. Get it right. Evolution has been proven, We have fossil's we have fossils of bacteria on other planets such as mars. Unless you think God put them there to mislead us, meaning he is toying with us? According to the bible the devil cannot do this because the devil is just a fallen angel, first of the fallen he doesn't actually have any power, he is not a god. God created sickness, pain, and evil. God created it all, god created the devil, god had to created an angel and that angel sinned and fell and became the devil but the god did in fact created him and according to the bible god is all knowing so he know's that this was going to happen. So IF you believe in god you also believe he is evil. Look, I'm not here to start an argument but evolution has been proven, Hubble space telescope has taken pictures of other Galaxy's.

I would have to say in a way you can be re-born, or go to heaven.For the fact that there was this Two-year old named James, and he said he was haveing dreams, of fighter pliots, of World war2. Then his parents asked what happened? The child said '' I got shot down.'' Then the parents ask ''who?'' Then the child said '' The Japs!'' Thats just interesting for a 2 year old! The parents figured out that it was it was there Grandfather, James something, who got shot down in world war2. So i just thought that was interesting, how this 2 year old could say all this, and he said more. Anyways, yes I think you can pick, heaven, or another Life.

 

I believe going to Heaven, but it would be cool to be reborn since I've had a good childhood and there are somethings I would like to do different in my life and fix up a few mistakes.
