An update to the bump system

I think this update still leaves some questions unanswered. How fresh does the vouch have to be to use it as a bump? Can I use 3h old vouches as bumps? If yes (or no) what's the limit?

 

Still getting used 2 the 4 hour bump timer and also still not sure whether it's better or not hmmm

 

i think best solution is
Add new Rule on service thread backend setting
Block customer reply/bumps or vouch on service thread only Real User can bump his thread after 4 hrs and customer will vouch only on vouch page
with current Rule if someone will vouch on my thread without my permission for sure i will get warning again or need to do report again and again
with automatic system you guys can save your time
or can add replies pending system on service threads for all vouches or bumps

 

There's still a 4 hour bump timer so it won't allow us to bump with a quoted vouch after 2 hours, might want to fix that

 

I guess because the timer allows bumping every 2 hours, I already saw two big gold shops bumping their threads 2minutes earlier than they are allowed to. What will the punishment be for bumping before 4hours passed?

i have some experiences that customers vouched in my selling thread(not us who asked them to post/vouch). what can we do for this kind of situation?

 

report the post and a mod will handle it

 

I get the concept, but why are we adding a limit on how long a customer vouch can be? This isn't really a big issue to my knowledge with the way is it right now, but in what way will we control when our clients vouch for us? The only control I can see is when we send them the links which personally sounds like more effort. Is there a fear vouches by a customer will be abused?

AH I see what you mean now, we're referring to the OPs using quotes from vouches on a 2hr basis, thanks for the clarification. Yeah that seems fine.

 

i just got an infraction for bumping sooner than 8 hours, is there another update

 

Your infraction was for bumping earlier than the 4 hour manual bump limit. I will ask for an admin to update the excessive bumping infraction text though, thanks for pointing that out.
