A lot of updates

Unless you inform your customer that the rate used will be the rate the btc confirms at, the default is the rate it's sent at

 

"I am sending at the coinbase/blockchain standard rate of $X"

 

Look at it from the point of that the more information and context you provide as a trader, the less problems and confusion there will be in regards to that trade. That is the point of some of these updates.

good stuff. i've always known about being able to click TWC to see more info, interesting it wasn't as common knowledge as I thought.

the fee thing is a good idea in theory to negatively reinforce sellers to have more strict trading terms, but I also think it can probably be done better or mended in the future. can't only benefit the buyer when there aren't clear terms on it. should benefit the seller as well in the case the prices change for them. or the rule should simply be that regardless of price changes, the difference goes back to the buyer and the seller is never at fault given a price change. i know it's more complicated than that, though.

sorta does feel like double standards to the extreme here then, like at the end of the day we're regular users here with no privilege's but we are on the rough end of any trade we do?

e.g.
gold trader sends customer low btc fee and doesnt inform, if it drops gold trader has to pay extra
gold trader receives btc from customer with low fee and they didnt inform would be low fee, if it drops gold trader has to honour the rate sent?

Since when do customers get special treatment? aren't they regular sythe users?

 

It feels like this change was made by people who do not trade so wouldn't know what effect it actually has on people who do indeed trade, due to this we now have a situation where only the customer is ensured but the shop is always fucked.
