    Does this only apply to users who have been evading a temporary ban? I wouldn't want to see leniency on evaders who have been banned for scamming in the market.

    God I've been dying to reply to this thread.. >_<

    Yes, I feel it is something that should have been changed long ago, allowing leniency to the unknowing.

    However, I feel given the new precautions that sythe has, I don't think it is overly necessary anymore.


    Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a system in-place stoping people from making new accounts?

    Most people who are too stupid to realize it's against the rules to evade a ban, are usually too stupid to bypass the ban system by changing their IP or finding a proxy that hasn't been used.

    Just my 2¢

    Oh you guys bumping this thread... I don't see why ALL accounts are given temporary bans, rather than perm bans for the vader accounts, then extend the original ban.

    Otherwise, this is still good stuff =p.

    Kinda smart, there's probably been a ton of people who've gotten banned temporarily for something minor, then quickly created a new account, leading to them being perm banned. neat
