    Legalize Marijuana?

that's true, never thought about that. What do they do now if they think you've been under the influence of marijuana while driving? test you and if it's positive just assume so? it doesn't make sense. They'd have to develop a better test some way or another. And then again, there's still always detox, what many kids my age do when they're going to take a drug test. They simply drink a shitload of water, and pee out all the thc

    Legalize Marijuana?

It's just hard to tell if the person is actually high. Marijuana messes with your depth perception, and that's untraceable, and most cops would probably diagnose that as plain reckless driving, if they didn't smell or see weed of course.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I think of weed as a hype drug mainly. Yes it does the affects, but you can come to your senses if someone/something does it.

Example: My bro smokes all the time, but when he sees cops, or he is about to get in trouble, his high is blown and he is back to normal because it was overcame and driven out by fear. Or other feelings.

EDIT: The only thing I could think of a reason to keep it illegal is because it could be laced with something. But that isn't even a good enough reason.

    Legalize Marijuana?

They do tests when they pull you over if they think you're high and if you can't walk in a straight line, you're obviously high. Now, I can act normal and talk to a person when I'm high but the thing is that I might slur words or act strange so the person would notice, but that's because I have really low tolerance to weed and I get high when I rip like 3 hits on some good quality mids.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I can walk in a straight line without a problem when I'm stoned, so that's not a good reference point. The police can do whatever they want, but they can never prove that you're actually stoned. Sure your face may look shitty, your eyes red and your mouth dry, but it's still not proof.

Oh I wish I had a low tolerance again :(

    Legalize Marijuana?

lol Take a tolerance break. Yeah, people tell me that people who have been smoking for a long time can act normal when they're high. That's why I don't do it everyday, just like once a week.

    Legalize Marijuana?

Researchers have discovered that chocolate produces some of the same reactions in the brain as marijuana. The researchers also discovered other similarities between the two but can't remember what they are.
    For. ALL the way.
Tax that stuff, I'd be happy to pay an extra $5 so I don't have to worry about police getting on me.

Note: It is not illegal to be high, as long as you don't have stuff on you.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I say no to legalize it, despite how big of a pothead I am... Two reasons.

    1. Imagine being high.. Now imagine a lot of people high, all the time, trying to go to work, work machinery, all this other stuff.

    2. It would ruin my buisness really..

    Legalize Marijuana?

Just like there are many responsible drinkers out there, there are many responsible smokers out there. You don't see drunks walking everywhere, and who cares if you do see high people walking everywhere? As long as they're not driving there's nothing wrong with being high on Marijuana in public. I'm also pretty sure that people will be responsible enough not to get high at work since their work is the thing that helps them pay for their bud.

    Legalize Marijuana?

For, I think it would be a great idea to legalize marijuana.

Reason 1; Taxing it would provide the economy with some extra funds.
Reason 2; Legalizing it would open up a new industry, Creating new jobs.
Reason 3; Legalizing marijuana would cut the crime rate of any location down.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I believe that we should make it legal considering it could help out the current economic situation, and it is used as a medicine. It would also get rid of alot of dealers on streets.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I finally realized that it's not worth legalizing.

There should only be a select few who have the balls to try it, and they are the ones who will get its benefit.

And some of those who try it will move onto hard drugs like opium, and at that point they are basically a sub-human, which makes it that much easier for normally functioning people to compete for jobs, and etc.

    Legalize Marijuana?

    Pay an extra $5? PLEASEEE.

If it gets legalized, even with tax, the price will drop down by an expected 50%, the reason its expensive on the streets is because its ILLEGAL.

It'll be like $50 for a ounce when legal fyi.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I actually never thought about reason #2 and I think it's a very good argument. I totally agree with you.

I don't know what the streetprices are in the US, but I am going to say this: weed will never be cheap. The prices per gram in the coffeeshops here vary around 5 euros for lower/mid quality, 7-10 euros for mid-high quality and 10-15 euros for high quality. I would say that is still expensive and keep in mind that this is not taxed.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I don't feel like converting. lol.

But our prices are $100ish for an ounce. In a news report, if weed was made legal in california, the price per ounce would be $50, which is where I came up with the 50% decrease in price.

    Legalize Marijuana?

No, the tax will be $50 per ounce. But you pay $100 per ounce already, that's (with some calculations in between) roughly 3 euros per gram, that can't be correct. Right? Because that's what we pay for homegrown outdoor weed (lower quality).

The average price of weed here would be roughly $250 per ounce (€7,- per gram).

    --

An ounce is roughly 28 grams
    A euro is roughly $1,30
