Then it's not a belief? A belief means you assume a premise to be true.1. who is to separate knowledge, rationality, reason, bigotry, faith, propaganda and beliefs?
you can have knowledge of a belief
you have have a rational belief
you can have a reasonable belief
All prejudice have facts to support them, but the prejudice is not the actual science itself, it's the person's own belief and opinion.you can have scientific bigots
You can have faith in something, but not of something.you can have faith in science
Science support propaganda, but it's not the science itself.you can have propaganda that supports scienct, reason and knowledge
you can have a belief in science
That's like someone saying, "guns are bad cause they kill people." People kill people. The advancement of science had nothing to do with the government who decided to use it to their advantage.it is all incredibly subjective.
the progress of science does not always lead us to a better future.
look at the a-bomb
I would rather be engaged in a holy war than be nuked.

the simple act of observing anything changes it at a metaphysical level.
therefore, we cannot know the true nature of anything.
I truly hope this isn't an attempt to justify religious beliefs by arguing against the foundation of all knowledge.
So in actuality there is no reality? Is that what you're trying to say?He actually could be right. Science can help us understand reality, but never prove it. Our observations can never be trusted and thus we can never be sure that we are correct.
