Irreverence Towards Religion -- Why Do YOU Do It?

Religion is like communism. In theory, it is perfect. In application, it falls apart. Just because the teachings of Catholicism (or any religion, for that matter) don't always necessarily match up with the actions of its followers does not automatically relinquish any blame on the part of religion. Besides, all of the positives of religion can be found in the real world if a person is actually willing to accept the world for what it is.
