The End of Odd Staking

Staking is a lot of luck aswell. You can make big and lose big.

 

If it won't be polled, they will find other, worse I guess way to fight against RWT.

 

It won't do alot in the long run I think, just denying x stakers

 

im happy with it, fuck x-ers. literally lvl 126 and u have a shit x-er trying to vs u every 10 seconds when its very clear you are not asking to vs one. bunch of annoying flies

 

I have a maxed main staker which I should have sold a year ago. What a worthless login that may become

 

When is this going into effect?

 

If you analyze it from a real point of view and not as RWT that we are, RuneScape has taken too long to take these measures. In other games or virtual markets where the RWT is not allowed, they would have taken more radical measures a long time ago.

For the people asking when it's going to happen I was told January 15th by various different people but if it doesn't happen by then who knows if it will even happen at all? They might of changed their minds.

Mod Matt K? I think mentioned i in his christmas stream that a change is in the works this coming year, but lets be honest with mobile probably taking a few more months it might be 6-8 months yet before a change

 

as long as there havent been a follow up post from jagex i don't think anything will be out before mobile is.

the duel changes will require engine work and people a busy with mobile for that.

Also I read through some stuff on reddit and the rs forum thread about it and they definitely are getting a lot of lashback from legitimate players who have taken the hours to grind out a max, so I don’t think they will just make you be able to adjust your stats, if anything they will just put a built in odds tracker into the arena... which basically just allows People to continue xing especially large amounts. People will chuck 2b vs 1.9b when they cant find a stake

 

they might limit the amount you can diverse from the stake. so if they put a 10% lock on it you would be able to do 1.8b vs 2b at max or whatnot.
