lol it's funny because they're not ending odds staking. They're just ending x'ers. If you've been around the block a time or two you know what to do.

 

How in the world can you odd stake with the same odds now that everyone would be the same stats. With everyone the same stats, it's 50/50 odds. Wouldn't make sense for someone too stake som1 else and give them more money with the same odds. I highly doubt stakers are that impatient for a stake too give som1 else more money just to stake in 50/50 odds. Unless you aren't talking about that when you said " If you've been around the block a time or two you know what to do."

 

I think whales will still give odds to others just to get stakes, nobody will call their 5B+ stakes.

this is why you're not an odds staker. Go back and reread what theyve said.

I believe they announced they didnt want to do that. My understanding is they wont allow u to stake items anymore. They wont allow you to x the amount of gold you put up. Ive also read they want to put a tax on each stake. I havent read anything new in the last week so i assume theyre still moving forward with this.

 

exactly! there are no benefits for jagex in doing this, they should simply leave it alone. More people are going to quit after the update because of staking than before. So what if odds stakers still exist? it's not like anyone is being forced to stake them.

 

this update will not cause a lot of people to quit.

 

and the benefits of removing "odd staking" for jagex far outweigh the burdens.

 

Rs3 odds staking > 07 now .... I don't see the arena lasting in its current form pre-tax very long on 07 as someone who odds stakes from time to time

[this is posted 45 mins after update give it 1-2 days to let arena organically mature]

 

The only odd staking this gets rid of is max odd staking. Now the poor max level kids who can’t find someone to match their stake will have to sit around all day
