Teleportation Achievable?

This is what i'm trying to say, lol.

 

But its not possible nor is everything possible it literally is not even a thing.


Lets just say for the sake of argument you had a "teleporter" what would it do? Analyze the particles in your body and rebuild it in another location? 2 problems here

Even assuming it works which it couldn't


1) You are transmitting data basically just like any wireless transmission not teleportation
2) The data is still moving and you are being rebuilt its just making a new copy not teleportation
3) Where would the end portal get all the exact particles & energy to recreate the human body?



Teleport implies instantly moving to a new location not moving to a new location very fast nothing with mass can even move faster then light let alone faster then light.

But lets just say you could move faster then light to instantly move to a new location before light travels you would not appear in the new location until the light has meaning once again even if teleportation were possible it would not be possible I know this seems like its contradicting itself but that is just how light works.

 

It will be possible but not in the near future, and not for living.

 

Those are 3 problems.

And no, I'm not saying anything about moving with speed, especially travelling as fast as or faster than the speed of light.

I'm talking about disappearing and instantly appearing in another location.

 

Disappearing is not possible nor is appearing in a new location.

Even if it were possible to appear in a new location it wouldn't be possible teleportation because until light travels to the new location nothing would happen there is no time passive there is no anything it would still take the same time as it takes light to travel it would just be moving fast.

 

What if we were to go to other dimensions as said by a previous user?

Would that be possible?

 

Well once again this would just be kinda like traveling to a new location very fast so not really teleportation. Teleportion cannot fit into the laws of physics as we know them.


We don't know if other dimensions could be traveled through but we have no way to even comprehend how we could at this time. Its fair to say we won't be doing this for a long time if it were possible but I have strong doubts in this. we have not even proven more then 3+1(time) dimensions and time is technically not proven but it is accepted.

 

One day, I bet humans are going to discover this...

Wright brothers were not the first to glide/fly and no one ever said it wasn't physically possible just many thought it was ahead of their time and they were right the Wright brothers didn't really get that far.

Humans won't live very much longer I would wager 200 years at most in the next 20 we will see huge revolutions against tyranny and we will start having massive world wars over other countries trying to impose their rule by funding rebel groups against the power. We will start fighting and bombing the shit out of each other until there is nothing left. I wouldn't bet on us living for another 70 years though.

We're gonna see loads of those in the streets soon.

Pulse, you didn't really even cite the closest thing to proof that you gave for why you think teleportation is possible:

The physicist was said to have successfully teleported a photon? You can't expect to convince anyone if you don't cite your evidence.
In any case, photons don't really qualify as matter. I think this has already been pointed by several people in the thread.


On the whole it sounds like you're trying to argue for what you think will happen in the future... Do you see what the problem with that is?

Yes I have read that right and there's always a con in these discussions.

 

Hopefully, one day it will be achievable. However, don't think we'll live long enough to see it.

Not 100% sure about teleportation, but after watching some documentaries in the past, from what I understand, there's millions of small in time fabric all around us, we just don't know how to open them up to a large enough size to make use of.

Other than that, I know there has been talk of creating a spaceship that can travel faster than the speed of light by stretching the fabric of time in front of the vehicle, while compressing it behind the vehicle, which would move the vehicle forward without it actually moving, because it's time space around it's that being manipulated and not the actual speed of the craft.

You never know, personally I think technology is growing at an exponential rate. Think about the human history, from when we first learned of fire, to the time it took to create a car, to the time is took from the first car to today, we discover and create more faster and faster as we learn how to make lesser things. Personally, I think in the next 50 years we'll see things we would have never even imaged. For example, 3D printer's are amazing, and I only learned about them like a year ago, it's amazing and something no one thought would be possible 20-30 years ago.

 

We already took a small step and we did manage to "teleport" an object.
