Sythe has a really shitty community.

As long as the community has sufficient amount of funding then it will continue onwards. A community that is made for the purpose of bringing in income is a community that will last a long time. Also, a community that doesn't use or share another's member base will also continue to grow and maintain it's successfulness.

 

You obviously know alot about the running of websites time. It will continue to maintain it's successfulness. We are just trying to fix problems; not gain more traffic to the site itself.

 

Well when majority of traffic ends up being scammers etc, then we kind of want to slow it down in that aspect.

Why does the majority of members on this forum make a big whine over scammers? When all they have to do is watch out, I mean it's not hard to spot a scammer. Other than that, I see that you're a gold seller what does the community matter to you? If in here for the dough then don't worry about other shit.

 

Hmm i agree the first trades you do you will most likely get scammed if your going first but once you get 5 or so vouches and people are willing to go first on you you can do as you please.

I agree with the judging by post count thing. You cant find a thread today that says "will not go first unless 40 vouches or 1k posts."

such a joke, as that makes business harder for the new people such as me.

5 or so vouches? Lol. More like 100+ vouches before people begin to legitimately trust you. I'm not even here for the RS, i'm here mainly for the community and I do in fact enjoy it. Most of the intelligent members provide for some good debates. Also, UE is quite a nice section too.

 

K seriously there's like 4 members who aren't here for the black market. Sythe is the blackmarket, without it there would be no Sythe, simple as that.

I agree with most of your post.. People are too obsessed with post count, I've never had the intention of scamming people, I don't feel I've mistreated anyone, but since I'm a new member I'm deemed a "noob scammer".

I tell somebody I wont go first and people spam my thread saying: "Lol this guy is definitely a huge scammer!".

Personally, I've been scammed many times, and it was by people with different amounts of post counts, high and low.

I'm glad you used proper grammar in your start post, it actually convinced me to read the entire thing.

I do understand that the majority of the community are just little assholes looking to cheat, lie, or scam for there own benefit. I understand this is a RuneScape Cheating community, but we're supposed to cheat RuneScape, not each other.

+1 on what you said but then 98% of the time it's pretty easy to spot out scammers to legit traders if you got a Trusted MM .

 

yea thats pretty true i guess, even the most trusted people scam eventually if they get there hands on something really big.
They use all there vouch's to take advantage of the one's who have fewer none, thats probably where most the scams come from its pathetic i am guessing but probably 80% of active sythe members scam or have scammed or even attempted.
