Sythe has a really shitty community.

I just got told by some guy that joined this month with no vouches i must go first as i am not trusted! what? over 1 year at sythe a $100+ and a 11m gp trade and im not trusted!

Well this community is screwed. i am starting my own. with itrader and a 30 day and 100 post limit before entering black market. pm me if interested in helping.

 

I love how people look at your post count and judge you a worthless noob if it's below 200. It's not my fault I don't spam and/or write useless posts. I strictly use this website for sales and buying of accounts.

What really tops it off is people who say your vouches are not credible because the guy has 5-10 posts. Like WTF, someone has to start somewhere no? Sorry Sythe, but this website is turning to shit.

i guess the leechers are taking over and trying to scam and fucking screw up sythe, 3months ago sythe was perfect i had 5 succeful trades and no bad trades
but in the last week ive been scammed 3times bye leecher and some even trusted people... the community has gone wakko

- So, I go on their forums and post that I would like to sell my 5 digit steam account. This was around 10 pm at night. About an hour later, I get a response via aim saying I'm interested. So, like any other seller, I asked what's your offer? They reply, "I'm offering a non-detectible vac cheat that u can use for cs and css. Your never going to get caught with it." I never cheated in CS in my life, and I find it insulting really. So i told him to #$%# off and a couple of other nasty words.

* Make a long story short, the guy PM's me back saying he's a keyhunt.com admin and that I was banned for admin disrespect and not accepting his offer. This just goes to prove how messed up people are and especially admins. So if any of you guys think Sythe is messed up, think twice. We have it good here. ty Sythe.

 

Excuse me, but you would slit your own wrists due to the frustration you get from moderating some teenage pricks on an online forum? Well, that sure does say a lot about you, how you can't tolerate and deal with other people. We're on a cheating website for an online video game where cheating is not allowed. The userbase is obviously flooded with idiot teenagers who come here looking for no good.

Btw, I just have to mention, I don't look at post count I look at join date (even though I don't trade anymore). I just found it highly amusing that ever since I have come back to the forums that over half of the black market has joined December 2008.

Back on topic: Its true, little rats scamming thinking its cool and excites them. Then they proxy back. Most common scam is firecaping.

 

Okay first of all how the hell are the like 1000+ post count people amazing at proving ppl wrong lol. Its scary how good you point out how stupid people are. Another thing to say is you say that people dont trust leechers why? Because of there post count. You say no spamming no spamming you will get banned okay. So what you are saying is that out of all of your posts you dont think that even one post was unnecessary? No offense just using an example i have nothing against you. But say for example wcer2552, he joined in February meaning hes not even a year old yet but whats his post count? 1,336 Im not accusing him of anything but unless your extremely active how are you going to get that many posts? What im trying to point out is that even people with 2000 post counts can scam. I remember reading this somewhere on sythe that someone said humans have natural wants of items which can explain someone with a massive amount of posts scamming. So my conclusion is that yes; theres about a 60% chance that if you look and their post count and join date you will find they can be a hacker or legit. Just my 2 cents.

 

i know im not one to talk as i just joined this month but i believe everything that was said is very much true. I just joined and have had 3-4 people scam me already while i have found 1 nice person. In all honesty their is no way of trusting anyone. i see guru's getting banned along with leechers. same goes with post date. i personally wish for people to trust me and if you don't i could care less. sorry about the long complaints.

However once inside, you are introduced to nothing but useless scammers. I myself being scammed four times, of all my accounts and mains, all of my money. To be honest, I'm an experienced forumer I have collectively 4k posts and MM'ed well over 60m and probably over 20 successfull trades and this forum is the WORST i've ever been to.

It's very disgusting. So to fix it, I think that you SHOULD put a cap, post count, even I wouldn't be able to enter but I'd work at it honestly until I had enough posts to get in and maybe actually make a safe trade. Which is also doubtful because postcount still doesn't mean safety which is what everyone thinks.

Vouches are okay, but those don't even prove that a person is safe. As noted in this thread, everyone has a price, i've seen it. You might know Outrage, a very good friend of mine, scammed 20 santas, and a blue phat in one MM trade at fagex. Good times. But he was a notorious scammer and he told me of every one. So that's different.


In a teaspoon:
1.Outside blackmarket is okay
2. Blackmarket is disgusting
3. Postcount and vouches have insignifigant value to a member.

 

I have a practical suggestion, how about the mods and such be more active?

This community is shitty for that exact reason, there is no enforcement until there has been something that has happened.

For example, D2jsp is a huge community with about 100x the members here and they run it with around 20 Mediatators (MM) They run the community fine, and scams are not common and there is ALWAYS a staff member or meditator willing to MM the trade for you. The problem is that the middleman cause people to pay them to get a successful trade, and that leads to people taking the risk and eventually getting scammed. How about recruiting more Middlemen, and cut the ones that do nothing to help it, unless of course helping with something else. Make some rules for them, you can become a MM if you do the follow: Don't charge to middlemen, do atleast 5 middlemen trades a week ( could be raised by alot but whatever. ) If they fail to do that exact thing, then you demod them. The staff is the reason for the community being so shitty, and its not only the fact that people scam because you will get that anywhere and it will always happen but d2jsp is a sucessfull community where people pay for forum gold, and the reason is, is that they have enforcement of rules.

yah this site is way better than realpoor and alot of other sites i have seen....other than realpoor this is the only other huge site that i have noticed....so really i like being here...but i do hate that its very hard to be trusted on here and that people won't trust higher people because people who have like 16 vouches and everything could even have a really high rank thats very trusted can still scam and get away with it....
