Small Pardon Change for DNT Users

Have we thought about issuing perma bans for DNT's that do not pay back within x amount of time?

-This pushes DNT's to repay debt
-Actually punishes DNT's that have no intention of paying back

The cycle:
-Temp ban on member
-DNT issued after temp ban
-DNT member given x amount of time to repay debt
-Failure to pay within x amount of time will result in perma ban
-Banned member issues a ban pardon with an estimated x time frame to pay back on the pardon process.

As for OP, I do believe a shortened time frame is good as 6 months is a very long time to wait especially if debt is paid back early on as well as being active throughout the community/discord etc.

Issuing such a system is only viable if debts are being paid at a reasonable rate. If enacted, expect mostly all users under the DNT usergroup to be banned. Outside of the market, this site has nothing to offer for the average DNT user.

Agreed, I hope to see some sort of repayment contract be mandatory before a DNT is given out in the future. The system was supposedly implemented to better the community, not simply generate easy posts and ad revenue. It would be nice if the rules set in place more properly reflected this.

Could be beneficial yes, but in the event they paid back an owed debt of a smaller amount in aims/attempt to scam a higher amount? if somebody has a past for scamming theirs a reason the dnt was applied.. i believe it should be permanent

 

People already tried saying things along these lines when DNT was released. For better or for worse, we're way past this discussion at this point.

So basically its 3 months for everyone since DNTs are handed out Willy nilly. Okay, fair enough I'm okay with that

Because 3 months of posting total shit as a DNT makes them much more important than the ones who stay quiet, nice?

If you feel people can be pardoned in 3 months, why restrict it to DNT?
