He's going to allow ISP's to sell our browsing history to the highest bidder... can someone please give me a reason why this is a good thing?

Firstly mate it's not like he alone is taking money and making it law. Where did you come up with that logic. It has to pass at all levels before it even gets to him.

It's already passed all the levels and is waiting for Trump to sign it into law. Also, who said anything about him taking money? Instead of trying to talk about my logic maybe you should try reading what I posted and being more informed.

The Telecommunications Act explicitly prohibits the sharing of ‘individually identifiable’ customer information except under very specific circumstances. What they will be selling is aggregate data for I believe marketing purposes. I still think it's a problem because it's one step closer to taking away our internet privacy, but no one's going to be able to pay Charter to tell them what kinda porn Shaq's been looking at.

Bannon just got removed from the NSC. Some speculation it was in regards to some confrontations between him an Kushner, a NYT story that's about to break similar to Flynn, or just McMaster reorganizing the NSC after taking over for Flynn. As much as I dislike Trump, I hope it's the latter. There has been far too much in-fighting within the administration, it's ultimately going to harm the country, despite how entertaining it would be to watch this self-destruction

60 tomahawk missiles is absolutely insane. Apparently Russians in the area were warned before the attack. Russia still has said we will face "negative consequences" for any direct military action on Syria.

If you think that this isn't already happening then you are naive.
Snowden only leaked PRISM, probably the NSA already has access to your browsing history and the CIA can already hack all of your electronics so it is really nothing new, god knows for how long they've been spying on you. Just start using tor and a VPN if you are really worried about the NSA knowing of your embarrassing internet traffic.

Read my last post, I've addressed this already.

Definitely scary times. I supported Trump to avoid Syrian/Russian conflict.

General Mattis apparently provided Trump a list of options in response to the chemical bombing in Syria, with the one chosen being the least drastic option. I believe he was just trying to send a message that he will not tolerate fuckery. Russia has spoken out against the bombing, saying they will help improve air defenses to help "protect the most sensitive Syrian infrastructure facilities." They also confirmed that Russia will would stop cooperation and communication with US forces in Syria.

@Spyder69 What are your thoughts? What should we expect?

Weird, that's the exact opposite of why I supported him.

I didn't buy the Russia hack bull and knew Trump would be a strong leader. This is what happens when U.S hegemony is questioned.

I don't understand. You voted Trump because you wanted Russian/Syrian conflict? Wouldn't Hillary be your candidate then? Trump's stance on Syria did a complete 180 overnight so I don't understand your first statement.

Too early to tell and too many rumors floating around. I'm not in favor of what Trump did; there's a ton of evidence of similar occurrences in the past that were carried out by the "rebels" (moderate beheaders) and many others that were complete hoaxes, proven hoaxes because many of the images published proclaiming "look at these chemical attacks!" were discovered to be old images from other wars that had nothing to do with Syria. AKA: False-flags. It's the same type of propaganda, known as Pallywood, used against the Israeli government in Gaza where the pictures are either from Egypt or Syria, claiming they're from Gaza or total fabrications.

/sg/ has already been addressing the latest attack and discovered white helmets (a group affiliated with Daesh and Al-Qaeda) were at the scene of the "attacks."

On top of this, people have already pointed out the UN reports and other investigations/initiatives were taken to remove Syria's chemical weapons; we also have proof "rebel" groups/Daesh use their own chemical weapons.

Trump jumped the gun and is listening to the MSM that pushes propaganda before legitimate evidence, backed by groups who want to see Assad fall, which will ultimately turn it into a vacuum to be filled with moderate beheaders.

E: Hilariously I have no fucking clue how this is going to affect Trump directly, since he's previously been against any military intervention in Syria when Obama was in power. Either Trump is being fed false information by his officials, or he was BS'ing the entire time and is being opportunistic.

Thanks. I ask because I couldn't figure out what the fuck went down. One source says they confirmed the air base that they bombed was the one that launched the chemical attacks and another says there's no evidence to prove where the attack came from.

And yea, last I heard they weren't supposed to even have chemical weapons anymore. That was a few years back though so I guess things can change.

I don't really have anything to add, I just wanted to hear the opinion of someone who doesn't communicate through facebook memes

    /sg/ Syria General

Ignore the MSM, just follow this. Keep in mind there are no Western sources actually on the ground there from any of the news stations. All the information being received are from sources within, many times it's the "rebels" feeding information and publishing the images on Twitter and other social media platforms.

Actual on-the-ground investigation doesn't find evidence of Assad committing genocide against his own people, it's the moderate beheaders vying for Western support under the guise of fighting against a tyrannical dictator who gasses his people- these people however do use chemical weapons, there are videos of them testing them on rabbits. You can find videos of life actually in Syria, and Syrians that make their own videos rebutting the claims made by sources that probably don't know what the capital of Syria is.

I voted Trump because I wanted a hardline approach to foreign policy. There won't be any more significant resulting conflict if previous U.S military action is any evidence of what will happen.
Bombing an air-field isnt the same planned action as Hillary.
Not particularly. He criticized al-Assad before the election, repeatedly said he didn't like him. He switched how he wants to approach the conflict, but I wouldn't call it a complete 180
