What are your opinions on him now? Have they changed for the better or have gotten worse?

I feel like I hit the nail on the head on the direction he went in following the inauguration. The nation has never felt as divisive as it is now. He hasn’t done any favors to repair that state. There isn’t anything from the Trump era that screams “improvement” in all aspects.

 

We aren't going to war, he's creating jobs. idk. The only drama is election rigging or that supreme court nominee.

 

The only drama? I’m guessing you’re forgetting the fact that a majority of his cabinet were prosecuted for being criminals.

 

He is pretty deluded tbh. He really doesn't understand what he is doing starting a trade war with China. And the consequences of his "america first" ethic is just overall detrimental to the US and the rest of the world.

 

Hey, that's interesting. Can you show me, in some way, that HE'S creating jobs? Like, a positive net of jobs are being created that otherwise would have been lower, or negative?

 

Ur right, he isn't bring jobs back to the US. All he's done is shift work from CHina to other neighbors of theirs! And if jobs do get back to the US then they are rapidly automated, along with growing productivity growth everything trump has "said and done" is for the short term. Very detrimental for the long term.

I don't think Trump is creating jobs. What kind of jobs is he creating exactly? I've always found it stupid that a president can claim to create jobs. How are jobs not created by the companies? Should I thank Trump for my job? I don't think so.

 

Presidents most definitely do create jobs. This should be a fun example..
Trump wants to build a wall, correct? Trump will hire MULTIPLE companies to build this wall, ye? Those companies wouldn't have this job (MASSIVE Job) if it weren't for Trump. The list goes on.

That would be a question to ask them, not me. Although it is simple logic. More work = more jobs. Putting tariffs on other countries products will in return create more jobs as well. Our US companies outsource their work because other companies work for a lot less. Putting a tariff on those countries will bring the work back to the US. Aka the President creating jobs.

Taxpayers are going to end up paying for the jobs because of the amount of money it's going to cost, taxes will go up

Here, let me explain once more.
The PRESIDENT will create the job. (Build the wall). The PRESIDENT will hire companies. Companies will hire workers depending on if they need help. (Which they will).

^ that is the topic we are on. “How does the president create jobs”.

Deciding who pays for the wall is completely irrelevant in this discussion. Same as who pays the employees. I’ve provided you with an answer of how the president creates jobs. If you’d like to discuss something else, we can do that too

 

The discussion is how he has done as president? If he creates a bunch of jobs that only puts a heavier burden on taxpayers how is that a good thing?

Regarding your most recent comment, taxes will continue to increase, just as currencies increase. Evolution of time/money. Taxes increase , economy increases. So I’m not really sure how this would affect anything.

 

Also, to reply to this.. I’m sure you’re aware that not all jobs are paid for by taxes. Based off your recent comment, that’d be like saying we should let all of the prisoners go because they are using tax payer money to feed, and support them. It just doesn’t make sense.

 

Actually prison needs a lot of reforming.
