Should Marijuana be Legalized?

Yeah this thread has been made countless amount of times. Last one had thousands of comments but was locked due to no discussion (everyone was like "YEAH DUDE WEED 4 LIFE" etc)

That being said weed is a terrible drug and should stay illegal.

All Garbear wanted was an agreement/disagreement, fair enough, they'res reaons why and reaons why not too, but seriously, your only going to think that YOUR right and the person who your argueing with is WRONG but the other person will think the exact same!

Okay. For starters; Marijuana is safe, you can't OD on it and it has been made to be sounded more like a worser drug than it is. I've been smoking it from the age of 14(Just before turning 15) and im only 17. So I don't have a big history over it; I started smoking it because it helped me get off my anti-depressants from all the private bad things which has happend throughout my upbringing, how you end up over it is how much mind controll you have over it. I smoke roughly 3/4 20's a week, which is quite a lot, but most of the time I have it when im out with my mates, which isn't neccaserry, fair enough you have a buzz, but it isn't needed, the main reason why I smoke it is to block my memory, stop me from thinking bad things, and help me relax and sleep(I mostly have it at night). Now, I can come and go with it, and I don't feel the urge to kick off or make a fuss if I don't have any, And really, everyone else should be like that, if they wanted too, then they could, they just think their "Addicted" because of how much the use. I once wanted it all the time, but then by just thinking, "I'm not having this everyday, I dont need too, and I can spend my money on better things" I soon ended up cutting down, which is because I like to occasionaly have it(But it dosn't bother me if I do or not at the time) But with a bit of self controll and by taking it step by step you can easily be fine without it like me, and in my opion, people who are like that are the ones who make it sound a lot more worse than it is, therefore, on how I feel over it, I support it being LEGALIZED; That way, your not gonna have the teenagers running around thinking their "badmans" because they smoke it, Because they won't feel as "Bad" if their not breaking the law, Anyways, Im gonna shut the fuck up now. /Rant Over
