No problem. It was quite the adventure.

 

Use some actual common sense when you actually decide to deal with an issue with someone. Your decision making is totally out of whack and it needs improvement. I now understand why you dont get involved with close to any reports, because your thought process would be laid out in front of everyone. And it simply wouldn't make sense.

You shouldn't accuse anyone of just wanting someone banned for the fun of it. That's just downright disrespectful. I feel that there are very few people like this though, and I understand that may be the way you feel with some users but their valid reports/ actual problems should still be a concern to you.

No matter if the user is brand new or 2 years old they should be held accountable for their actions. Negligence of not following/reading the rules or doing shady shit because they thought it was ok should not be tolerated, especially when they are actively trying to trade.

So before you deal with a problem with someone you clearly have an issue with, please step back and assess the situation before you come to a conclusion. Good job with the bot on discord though, everyone seems to like it and its working A LOT better than most.

It seems like you're upset about something. Regarding the user in question, a short staff discussion ensued and my opinion was asked. I reviewed the evidence and it appeared to be a simple mistake. I'm not sure why you've continued to pursue the venture and berated me in Discord DM's before blocking me and subsequently posting here, but I recommend you vent your frustrations elsewhere. A staff decision was made and is therefore final. I feel you took some of the things I was saying way out of context, but to each their own. Feel free to contact me in the future after some time has passed.

IDK why everyone seems to be trash-talking Shin.
The guy is literally an Admin, who trash-talks Admins. He has a lot of patience to even reply to the nonsense you's are talking.
and Shin has never failed to do good whenever I have needed a help in hand. Fast replies, quick and professional help, etc.

From what I've seen so far, Shin is incredibly active, always quick to reply and will help to the best of his ability. He does God's work behind the scenes and his efforts with Shinbot (which everyone should donate 100% of their cryptos too) are awesome. Haven't had the chance to speak much but you're definitely an asset to Sythe and I hope we can become more acquainted in future!

 

When someone directly lies to me about their account sales and how many sales they have WITHOUT me showing interest in their accounts, I just wonder how many actual customers he told this to and got away with it. Someone can't make the mistake of typing 50 instead of 5. It's literally impossible, and you can't seem to grasp it. You berated me, saying that I basically just want all new users banned and that I care less about the community that I've been a part of for the same time as you. Which is totally untrue and honestly demeaning. Every report that I post you've probably felt this way just like I posted in your feedback section and you shrugged it off claiming that I was just frustrated.

So the next time you think I or someone else is just "trying to stab every other user in the neck" think about what I was trying to accomplish. According to you a newcomer shouldn't be held liable for anything they do if they didn't read the rules. Which is totally assinine, where do you draw the line when other members are at risk? Noone can simply type 50 feedbacks and accidentally mean 5. This is where I question your decision making. This is just one of many reports that I've had issues with before and the way you treated me when I asked you about this one in particular was just appalling.

Blah Blah decision was final, I know and I realise this. Please take what I've had to say and hopefully apply it before you demean the wrong active member of Sythe and potentially put others at risk.

 

You're taking the things I've said out of context and making the matter personal, which is unnecessary. You're focusing on the specifics of a single statement which has very limited implications as to the entirety of a user's operation. I'm well aware of what he said and while it was a stupid mistake, I don't blame him for panicking and saying what he did when he was being pressured, threatened and intimidated. Likewise, I don't blame you for saying the things you said to him, as I support people being held accountable for their actions. Now, within that statement, I'm sure you're already conjuring up some statement about how I'm a hypocrite (which doesn't make sense) or contradicting myself, but the bottom line is not everyone deserves punishment for something they said or did in an immediate fashion. The user in question didn't have the number of feedbacks off-site for what was stated, but they have at least 30-50 vouches/feedbacks on Sythe. I know that's not the "point", per se, but a TwC rank is an extremely harsh punishment, especially when there was no attempt or intent to scam or take advantage of their status on the forum.

Then I say unto you: The incompetence of competence is strong with this one.

Great guy. He has returned from his daily dose of busy-ness and has started listening to the community, cracking down on ban evaders and continues to patrol around the forum searching for the next target of rule breakers. Keep it up and hopefully you can refund @Darkgroove's OMM rank!

 

I find it very unprofessional for you to block me after I was trying to explain in detail how I qualified for the minor name change in the username change thread. Instead of helping me understand or trying to back your position, you blocked me. Since you blocked me on discord and blocked me from posting on the thread itself, I will explain it here.

These are the requirements of the thread:

Those eligible for a minor name change requestare those who:

• Have donated a minimum of 5$
• Have a join date which dates to at least a year prior to their name change request
• Have 2FA enabled at the time of their request and pass an IP check (To enable 2FA visit https://www.sythe.org/account/two-step and for a guide see: here.)
• Have not previously changed their name via the minor name change system

I meet all these requirements. I have only changed/modified my name once through this system in specific. The account I created in Ghast was changed to Kiro through this major name change system. The account Wonderland was merged with Kiro with the help of @Sythe. I see no issue of why a single letter capitalization in that which I meet would have such a strong stigma with anyone. Users such as @Tyler was able to undergo both a minor and major name change. If you can respond to this instead of blocking me, that would be appreciated.

Through careful analysis, I can ascertain that patience is something you do not have, and those with a different perspective or point of view than your own will make you flustered and enraged. Other than that, you aren't a bad admin.

 

Constantly pestering me for multiple name changes and being a nuisance is the reason you've been blocked and banned from replying on the thread. You've had 3 major name changes, whether or not it was due to a "merge" is irrelevant. You're trying to get your way any way you possibly can. I don't know why you've insisted on being so annoying, but I'm not one to give in to the antics. You want yet another name change for no other reason than having a name change. You've already exceeded far beyond the limit any user would ever be awarded and I'm not one to take too kindly to special treatment being given.

This has all already been explained multiple times on multiple occasions, but if you want to post here and act like nothing has been communication at all, be my guest... I won't assist you anymore and I have the right to block you on Discord as I please. Coming and making a public masquerade is never the right answer, but it seems like user's go-to all the time when they don't get their way. I'm not sorry.

 

It seems you aren't reading what I'm saying. Even if you categorize me making a new account or merging one as a "major name change", it still isn't a minor one to which I still have the option available to me. Modifying a letter capitalization is not a name "change". This is a matter of semantics and nothing more. I didn't make the rules, I'm only following them. You are the one not following the rules, but instead creating your own. How else would you have liked me to go about this subsequent to you blocking me on a platform that granted me the best way to contact you about the situation at hand? You know and I know that you would ignore my pm. I'm still amazed at how you aren't handling this professionally, but instead making this a personal matter. This is to be seen as nothing more than me using a perk available to me. My reason for wanting this is unnecessary.

 

You came to me yet again making demands. It wasn't an inquiry. It was you saying, "Listen to me. This is how it's going to be." If anyone is making things personal, it's you, which is exactly why I blocked you. However, you came here to question professionalism, while you sit here making a public masquerade as aforementioned. You've already been given special treatment and I'm not going to give in to the demands. If you don't like it, there are other Admins you can try speaking to.

It's not about special treatment. It's about you not abiding to the rules. You have yet to tell me why I'm not eligible for a minor name change when I meet all the requirements and there's nothing else prohibiting or preventing me from doing so except your word. This is exactly why I said listen closely because you have yet to target these points in specific, and even more so care about what I'm saying. This is apparently Shin's world and whatever you say goes even though rulings say otherwise. This is the issue here.

Since you clearly can't comprehend it, I'll make a few things clear.
1. Dave denied your name change.
2. You came complaining about the denial as if I made the decision as a dictator and it's my way or the highway.

Dave asked for my opinion on all of the name changes and I quickly provided an opinion for every single one. Dave made decisions for all outstanding name changes. To come to me and request said changes reverted is against the staff code of conduct. If Dave told you no and my opinion aligns with Dave, I'm going to be firm with my stance. In order to have the request looked at again, only Dave or Sythe can help you, which I instructed you. However, you simply can't take no for an answer and didn't care about what I had to say. Thus, you were blocked as I foresaw it being a complete waste of both your and my time. That didn't stop you of course, but I'm finished responding to your temper tantrum. You've been instructed what you can do.

While it's irrelevant, if Dave had changed your name I would have shook my head and moved on with my life. Everyone gets so caught up in things not going their way it's hilarious. Like you think we're all tyrants sitting around trying to make your "life" miserable. We have far more important things to focus on than sitting around listening to someone whine and complain non-stop about someone forgetting to warm their milk. Stop making things personal and follow the proper chain of command. That's all you and everyone else can do unless rules are revised in some way.
