[RESOLVED] Keep Treatment Equal For All Users

As the title states, my suggestion is to keep treatment equal for all users.

If this was anyone else holding a $405 payment for more than 48 hours they would have been slapped with a DNT within seconds.

Shouldn't matter if they are high donor, no donor, have websites etc. ALL USERS SHOULD BE TREATED THE SAME WHEN IN RASC.

 

What if the same report was on Wortel?
Or Video? or Richard?

Not saying I disagree with you, but I understand @Charlotte decision on the topic.

 

Any report on any staff member results in instant temporary demotion. Happened to me while staff.

Also depends on the reporter. The reporter gave R2 48 HOURS before having to make a report. That is plenty of time for a payment. He then felt obligated to post here which 100% rushed the process on him receiving his payment.

He shouldnt have to force out his payment by making a RASC report. The point of a rasc report is to issue a warning to the community which he did and should have resulted in a temp DNT on R2 until payment was sent.

Edit: Im also not saying @Charlotte was wrong in her decision. She handled it perfectly other than not issuing a temp DNT while waiting to get the payment.

I feel like continuous failures to meet your own time frames should be punished, whether it be a new service provider or a veteran, site owner.

 

If you wouldnt have reported him you were going to most likely wait another 48-72 hours. But you had to report him to get your funds cause you were worried correct ?

I remember @Wortel mentioning To a user that an acceptable time frame is upto 6 hours. 48 hours seems absurd, plus I liked the flex he made of $30,000 pending citing im short of btc.

If he's out of btc in 12 days of a new month then he should have stocked properly to avoid delayed payments.

I wouldn't say that I was "worried", I knew that I was going to get the payment the question was about when. I made the report due to it just being easier than going through livechat a 3rd time and due to honestly being disgusted how someone who is well respected in the community could get away with continuously doing something like that. I have heard from someone that had to wait for MUCH longer than I did. This is not the first time this individual has had issues with meeting his time frames and unless we do something about this, it will not be the last.

 

A regular user would have gotten a dnt until resolved + Twc that can be disuputed in one month for "poor trading practice".

Most recent case here resolved very similar situation. (Rael -> Pepsi reverse situation the gold wasnt being delivered)

Good thing is we dont have to read @Divine complain about R2 getting TWC , dodged a bullet with this one.

At the same time I think there will always be privelege and thats ok is the way the world works and people like R2 earned it.

Never said such thing. This doesn’t sound like a suggestion either, more like feedback and there are no set rules when and if someone should get DNT’ed. Yes I do believe everyone should be treated equally but we all know the chances of R2P running away with $500 is less likely than if let’s say @Voyager was gonna do it. In the end a DNT is mainly issued to prevent more harm being done and all harm that was done to Rasmus was a waste of time, though he was made aware of the possibility it could take a while.

 

See that's the thing, how do you know it was only going to take awhile and R2 wasnt scamming or a client of his wasnt scamming. Hense the reason a DNT should have been added only until payment has been processed.

 

Theres plenty of cases where reports have been made for delayed payments and the payer being dntd until issue was resolved.

Can simply refer to Nino, rodman, sky, owner, rscrown, dropperz. All of them had legitimate excuses but were still held to a dnt until they paid. What makes this different?

What is so different from dr Pepsi getting twc'd for the same reason, The guy should have been warned in advance about the payment being delayed (Classed as poor trading business) if that's what it is called! I don't feel like a do not trade is worthy of it defo a twc though!.

Like when @ABM reported Daddy Dropperz a couple days ago for not giving him his gold back and stopped replying for over 6 hours.

Dropperz was not even issued a DNT

 

R2pleasent is the owner of at least 5 companies and is a multi-millionaire. He's also more intelligent than anybody on this forum. He has given this forum over 11 years of loyalty and even moderated for it several times.

Punishments lay at staff discretion I would remind you.

There is clearly no risk of R2 scamming $400. Staff have consistently over the years not issued DNT's or TWC's to users who clearly are not a threat/pose a risk.

I've had several reports I have not been issued a DNT(Just this $530 one recently for a direct reference) -> Staff use common sense -> The guy who could recover literally 1,000 accounts and scam well over $100,000+ just in accounts is not going to steal $530.

Another example is obviously R2 who probably processes upwards of $25k+ a day has no chance of scamming $400.

Common sense is used in practice and in *most* cases staff do a pretty good job overall with this particular issue.

It harms peoples business's when their issued a DNT or TWC as a precaution -> Well established users(R2,Bogla, Arcus, Pie,Party, Crazy,Myself, etc) who are clearly not a scam risk don't need to be issued damaging punishments when there's no risk.

Doing so is just a good way to piss off the people who fund shit as is tbh this sentence is my personal opinion though I don't see anybody sane wanting to issue DNT's and damage someone's business who is doing $500k+ a year(example) on a $500 report than hope they still fund events, donate, buy ads, etc. That's just a really quick way to piss off a lot of important people really quickly. Common sense should be used.
