Recruiting scripters for working on code examples
The last release of Slade brought the documentation viewer. Documentation on its own is great, but what really makes it shine are code examples for each function.

This is what the documentation viewer looks like in the latest version of Slade:

If you come up with code examples, click "Save Changes to Doc" in the bottom right corner of the window, and post your documentation files here. Please mention which functions you made examples for so that I can add them to the official file.

Thanks to anyone to participates! Post your files in this thread.

That's JS, right? Would you say this documentation viewer is good to learn basics?

It's SytheLib I think which is kinda like c++? I don't think it would be a good way to learn basics tho.

Speaking of JS does anyone want node bindings for sythe lib? So you can use it in node?

I'm really curious how this works? From an educational standpoint

Basically I compile sythelib as a node module and set up proxy functions (bindings) so calls can be made from node. There’s a bit more glue to it but mostly it’s just casting data types for underlying buffers

Say what? If you can do that, be pretty sweet. Also that polypoint bug still persists if you get around to it.

+1000 for node and Mac support

If I get sythelib compiling on virtual box on my Mac laptop I’ll fix it

Also I might add Mac support lol

lmk if you do this ASAP, Slade will need to be redone in something other than C# to work on Mac + Win

Just download SLaDE from the sticky and go into the documentation viewer under Tools, the doc file I need from you is in the folder where you put SLaDE

I have some time irl to work on a coding project, but to save each others time, my time will not be cheap.
Should you still need somebody, please do reach out.

Edit, didn't read the OP. I'm not really interested in free work that doesn't benefit me in any way. Don't take this the wrong way, ether.

@Blupig If this is still needed I'd love to help

Of course, let me know whatever examples you come up with and I can include them in the official docs. You can just post your docs file here too and I can look at the diff between it and the stock one then make the relevant changes.
