Ultralomaniac: I find it funny the fact that you don't capitalize or punctuate your own sentences, yet you somehow decide to have a go at others! You say you can't be stuffed putting the correct punctuation into your sentences, correct? Now maybe some people can't be stuffed spelling out their words? Your just as bad as the "others" if you can't be stuffed to push a single button just to make a letter bigger.

To be honest, people who don't use proper punctuation and capitalization are worse than people who fail to spell words correctly(Unless they are just complete morons who refuse to spell correctly). There is alot less to punctuation and capitalization than there is to spelling a word correctly. Not to mention the fact that for alot of people on here, English is not their first language.

So before you continue to have a go at all the people who don't spell correctly, I suggest you get yourself up to scratch.

Bad Grammar=Low IQ
Bad grammar has nothing to do with a low IQ or not.
I got Dyslexia and that why my grammar sucks. Like most of you have found out already XD.

Most people are just lazy to type correct.
Or like you said already...they are typing fast.
And not to forget that the main language of most people around here aint English.

about 90% of low IQs does have bad grammar i've noticed it..

Actually the lack of capitalization is one of the things that burns my eyes the most.
Next to the actual spelling that is.
Ok mage, jut for you,... I will do my best to capitalize. :P
I totally agree to this. I try to use proper grammar, but it pisses me off how other people can't seem to agree with me. I would like to call them Immature and Ignorant noobs.
I couldn't have put it better myself.

I would like you to point out all my instances of improper punctuation,
Because i really do not see many errors at all in this post.

EDIT: sparq, on looking through my post, I have become aware that, YES, I was missing quite a bit of puntuation. But I would like you let you know, all the punctuation i was missing was only periods. And these were only at an area where i began a new sentence by skipping a new line
Like this

I feel it unnecessary to put periods at the end of sentences that i am going to do that to

This is a forum. I know myself that clumping all my words together into one paragraph will deter people from reading my post

If i spread it out like this, people are more likely to be interested in reading it

So yes, i will continue to use no periods on sentences which i skip a line to signify i am beginning a new sentence,
unless i use a comma like that

Thank you

A fullstop is the most basic of them all! How could you ignore such an important character?

Well, because i seriously doubt that WHEN SKIPPING TWO LINES, somebody is actually going to believe i am on the SAME sentence.

English isn't my first language, but I still spell it better than the general person whose first language happens to be english. I also took the time to point out all the small errors you made in your post; increasing the irony which caused me to vomit in bare disgust.

For your information, a lot is two words.

So before you continue to have a go at all the people who don't spell correctly, I suggest you get yourself up to scratch.
I suggest you quit being a hypocrite. Nobody likes hypocrites.

English wasn't my first language either, and I'm like, one of the biggest grammar freaks you'll ever come across.

Slightly off topic: Who remembers that thread I posted about how stupid it is when people confuse the words "your" and "you're"?

lol ok well im not picking either one, its not "abused" and we dont use it well, if u can read/undserstand whats the point?

"Alot" can be spelt as one word. Infact the only thing you got right is that I missed out a possible location for comma.

Wow, you are quite the moron. I suggest you leave the grammatical correction of a post to those who actually know what they are doing. It is clearly not your first language, because you simply butchered his post.

English on Sythe is horrendous. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do except ban those who insist on speaking their idiotic "b4d 3ng1i5h".

Is it hurting anybody? I don't think so.

As long as it's understandable, then who gives a crap. It is NOT a big deal.

That is where you are wrong. Sure, it is understandable, but what is the overall age level of Sythe? I believe my poll said around 16 average. Meaning, you are still in the age of development. When someone is in that state of mind, they must be at PEAK mental and physical activity, for that will determine how they turn out as adults. Right now, it does not affect you, however, just like if you were to drink a soda every day as a kid, in your future years it will come back to rape you.

Your mentallity now, is your mentallity when you grow older. Best end it while you're young, so when you apply for much more respected jobs, homes, loans, cars, and whatever else, then you won't sound like an idiot, and fail at life.

Best to learn.

Learn about the top 10 grammatical offenses and how to avoid them

We've compiled a list of 10 grammatical offenses that do more harm to a person's image than all the others. Avoiding them will send you in the right direction for personal and career success. Knowing why they're so horrid is Step 1 in your pursuit.

Learn what grammar is and why horrid grammar is such a problem

Too many people think grammar is something to dread from school days. The truth is that correct grammar makes the language function for everyone and enables everyone to benefit from the common language. Using horrid grammar undermines the language and the success of everyone using it.

Stop Misusing Verbs

"He done," "She ain't." "They's . . . "

Verb misuse is among the more common grammatical faults. Learn how to conjugate your verbs properly and make them agree with your sentence subjects so you can make good impressions on people.

Stop Misusing Nouns

Flawed plurals! Faulty possessives! Ugg! Learn how to use your nouns correctly so you can make sense to other people.

Stop Botching Pronouns

"Me and him went to lunch." "Give that report to myself." "Her and him are in a meeting."

Botching pronouns is among the more common grammatical offenses that can stifle career success. Learn how to use your pronouns correctly so you can look impressive to employers and customers.

Stop Misusing Modifiers

Modifiers are necessary for clear communication, so misusing them would naturally undermine effective communication. Learn how to use your modifiers correctly so you can make sense to anybody.

Stop Using Double Negatives

The use of double negatives does more to make a person sound ignorant than most other grammatical offenses. Learn to avoid incorrect double negatives and when double negatives are appropriate.

Stop Saying "Like" All the Time

Habitual uses of "like" are immature and silly. Make yourself be taken seriously by eliminating this childish grammatical flaw from your speech.

Stop Using Substandard Words

"irregardless" "conversate" "hisself"

Substandard words are not accepted by grammarians but are used carelessly and sometimes ignorantly. Their use contributes to poor image of the speaker. Purge these incorrect words from your speech and writing.

Stop Using the Wrong Words

Wrong words are good words used for the wrong reasons. Learn what these words mean and use them correctly.

Stop Misusing Slang and Jargon

Although slang and jargon have their places, the misuse of these words inhibits effective communication and is not "cool" after all. Learn to stop misusing slang and jargon.

Stop Mispronouncing Words

Mispronouncing words leads to miscommunication, misspelling, stifled careers, and sometimes ridicule. Learn to pronounce words properly and make people take you seriously.

Stop That Silly Uptalking

"Uptalking" is an annoying speech habit that inflects all sentences as though they were questions. Stop annoying others and belittling yourself with this silly speech habit.

Stop Fretting About False Errors

It's really surprising how many people seem to know about "rules" that are really myths but ignore real grammatical rules. Learn several of these false errors, stop fretting about them, and focus your attention on true grammatical errors.

Stop Using Vulgarities

The casual and public use of vulgarities in our society is an alarming trend that offends many people and seriously undermines the speakers' respect. Only a few years ago we would not have needed to explain these words because everyone already knew why their use was unacceptable in civil and polite society. If you use these offensive words, stop it and present yourself respectably.

Stop Making Excuses

"It sounds stuffy."
"People will laugh at me."
"It's free speech."

These are examples of the lame excuses we hear from people who wrongfully believe that using horrid grammar is all right. Although we are legally free to make fools of ourselves by using horrid grammar, we are not going to be successful in life or at work through such an ignorant, arrogant, and offensive approach to life. Stop making these silly excuses and improve your presentation by correcting your English grammar.

==============^ Perfectly Put

The majority of you who posted in this thread attempting to sound as if you actually do use proper grammar, and that all these other "n00bz" should respect that and try to feebly do the same, are pretty much lacking in any grammatical skills whatsoever.

Even the author of this thread made several grammatical mistakes in his rant.

Ironic, eh?

-Putting two separate words together as one, such as "a" and "lot" doesn't make you seem grammatically superior in the least.

-Neither does the random capitalization of random words, without any warrant.

-Or the severe cases of lacking punctuation.

There is, of course, a difference between a typographical error and a grammatical error, however, most of you fail to realize this and differentiate, thus abusing our language and giving Sythe.org the poor reputation it posesses.

Nonetheless, trying to become a better speaker/typist is a start that is worth commendation, but most of you don't even try.

Still, this isn't anything professional is it? It's about RS cheating, and other RS-related things. (And also socializing) Are you applying for something? Nooooo. People have their own style of writing, own style of posting. It honestly doesn't matter. If they screw up in life, then screw them, that's their problem.

It's not like anyone types like a 3 year old.
