NHL Playoffs

I hate the Rangers. Even tho this isn't baseball (I'm from houston so I hate the MLB team the rangers cause fuck dallas) I hate the NY rangers because they should have lose to the caps. I follow the caps cuse my gf is from DC, and also I hate NY sports teams cause there are 2 for all sports except MLS, so ppl from NY just pick the better one to root for.

@dukeblue - both my parents went to duke and I might be going there for soccer soon. My house is duked out. I might post some of the cool duke stuff I have and cool championship stuff from when my dad was friends with coach K (he still is, but not as close)

 

Wow good for you my man! Let me know if you end up doing that I might need to come see you play some soccer games then. Beautiful campus, great athletics, just a great school. You'll love it there.

You'll also meet a lot of New York sports fans at Duke though, so brace yourself.

My Detroit upset pick is gaining traction!!!

 

Been a Redwings fan since I was born in 90.
They have made the playoffs ever since that year also.
Hoping they can upset the Blackhawks!!

The Red Wings are very good at getting teams to play out of their element. They're making the Blackhawks play "goon" hockey. And the Blackhawks are NOT equipped for that type of a game.

I'm really pulling for them to win the series. Most Chicago fans are bandwagon fans that did not follow the Blackhawks at all until they won the Cup in 2010. It's exactly as if the Cubs were to suddenly become good. The Blackhawks just really annoy me, Hossa looks like a little bug that needs squashing, especially because he's so smug. Haha a SMUG BUG :nuts: . Also hate that little twerp Toews, he tries to act tough but the Wings defenders keep putting him on his ass. Also, none of them can grow playoff beards, bunch of women.

Yes. I went up to duke for my parents alumni reunion thing and they had a soccer thingy for the kids (most of the kids were like 5-10 but there were a few older kids like me, I am 15) anyway, I got to meet the cosches for the guys and girls team and got to meet a bunch of the male and female duke players. I even had some long and interesting conversations with the coaches daughter who is on the woman's team... So I have a while until I am looking at colleges, but I nee to work on my skills... I'll actually see if I can find the sheet of paper with the coaches daughters number on it and see what I can do for you (maybe, prolly not)

Alsooooo, NY now has a soccer team. Announced 2 days ago the Yankees are teaming up with Manchester city and are making another NY soccer team. So now New York has 2 of every professional team.

OT: rangers barely won in OT last night... I wanna see them get creamed. Also, I want sharks to do something.
