i agree, i'd prefer nashville to take it but i tuned in for like 5 mins today and just didn't care. checked the score after the game and was ever so slightly sad though. that's all i'm really doing lol, just checking scores now


funny how other years when the leafs weren't in it i'd be pretty invested

There are some good games out, but yeah I'm just waiting for the stanley cup final games. Once I'm back from vacation they should be at like game 2, so perfect timing

 

I hope the Pens don't win another game.

A Nashville-Ottawa final would be great because that would guarantee a franchise without a cup would get their first one

IMO that's not fair for Fleury, especially after what he has done for the team. Not only within the past few years, but also in the current playoffs. The team itself had a bad game, period. Remember when he had a terrible game vs the caps and then the next one he would get the shutout win? Anyway, the easiest way to wake a team up is obviously by changing the goaltender in order to give them a motivation boost. That's probably why Sullivan took this decision.

Cant see Pens not whooping Nashville. Way too defensive a team. Doesn't work vs Pitt. Sens have tried.

 

I'll give the Preds a slight edge in a Preds-Sens matchup though - actually not too sure seeing as I only watched games before Johansen went down and he's been a huge part of their offense in the playoffs (ppg player)

 

I definitely agree with that and I could see Nashville taking a few games but cannot see them taking 4.

 

Can't say the sens arent resilient. What a game from Anderson. 23 shots only in 2nd period, 45 saves, quite impressive.

Pens win another game 7 in the ECF, I attended last year game 7 vs tampa bay

 

Stayed up for Double OT glad the Pens pulled it because I was fighting sleep. Left the bar at end of the 3rd lol. Was prepared and hopeful to watch a SO.

Kunitz got lucky with a hopeful shot but happy nonetheless. Sens shut down every lead very quickly during standard time and I believe they played well. Pens iced every other shift was a bit sloppy imo, almost like they couldnt keep a clear head.
