NHL 2016/17

Well DW isn't here (as far as we know, at least), and with the regular season firing up here in a few days, I figured I'd start up the thread after the last one was more/less successful (and in reality just five people posting 50 times each).

I'm an Oilers fan. I'm praying for playoffs.

Also for shits and giggles, I'm going to drop down that my cup winner prediction will be Nash vs Fla in cup final, NSH takes it.

 

Dallas Stars die hard here, like the off-season moves but don't like keeping the goal-tending situation the same. With a goalie they would have won the Cup last year.

as a Hall fan, I sure hope they are! Guy deserves it after all the shit he went through in Edmonton. Just a quick tip: don't be worried if he ain't lighting it up right off the bat, he usually starts a bit slow.

Stars sustaining a lot of injuries rn and need a real goalie but they're hanging tough under the tough injuries to Sharp and Spezza and others over the course of the yr.

Ouch man. You figured their defense and goaltending issues was going to catch up to them eventually. If they can get Sharp, Hudler and Spezza rolling, pick up Bishop/Fleury and maybe a good defenseman, they could really make a run for it and maybe even a deep run in the playoffs.
