Iraqi war , right or wrong?

I think its right...If we never went to war all the terrorist would think that they could just keep bombing America. I think we should all support the Troops over there...on September first my brother is being shiped over there and we wont be seeing him for over a year.:(

Wrong.

No one from Iraq bombed us. We went there because they "supposedly" had WMDs.

There was none but that didn't stop us from continuing to bomb and killing close to if not already over 1 million "INNOCENT" civilians.....

I know how you feel, my brother in law, and two of my friends were shipped over. My brother in law and one of my friends are back now but... my other friend is gonna be gone for like 18 months.... shes in the Army as a helicopter pilot. My brother in law at first didn't really feel like he wanted to be there, he wanted to serve though, and my friend who's back now wanted to be there from the start.

I don't know where you get your statistics, but my sources say just over a half million Iraqi casualties. You are simply blowing this out of proportions by saying that we bombed over a million innocent civilians on purpose. That is not true. You have no basis for this testament, next time try adding something about people getting in the way while other people are shooting and maybe someone will believe you.

Even half a million is alot.

And its more than that.

You honestly think people just run infront of the flying bullets?

I mean if I heard gunshots Id run away no go in front of them -.-

Well, as you may or may not know Iraq is in fact a warzone. Citizens over there are totally used to hearing gunfire. Obviously some people aren't going to know that they are being shot at if everyday they hear gunshots that are just outside the window. I agree that half a million is a lot but their not lives lost by bombing, and sure as hell not by US bombing. I admit yes we did bomb them, but we don't just go around bombing Iraq instead of attempting purge the cities of insurgents. The insurgents set up the bombs that we hear of the add more bodies to the casualty count for both US soldiers and Iraqi citizens...

i think its wrong because bush is jsut after the resources there thats why he is not withdrawing his forces

Well About This Topic.Hmm America said 'Humpph Saddam is building nuclear weapon of destruction we must stop this!!'. But then when no nuclear weapon was found and thousands of iraqi died, chaos everywhere and some iraq womans got raped by america's soldier,America then change the statement 'Uhh...we're here actually to stop the people of iraq from fighting each other!! and btw..we could develop iraq's oil resources too..' So,What do you think? -_- America the war stopper eh? More like War Starter. Many people died

And now their abusing Iran's right.-_- i wonder who's America's strategist is.Even 12 year old boy know right and wrong.

They way you state it, it sounds as if everyone in Iraq lived in complete peace and harmony with one another, didn't have a dictator who slaughterd thousands of his own people for "testing" and was a great potential threat to the well being of the rest of the world. I am sorry but well there was in fact mass violent crimes going on in Iraq, bombings on their own people, and yes even rapes to their own people. And we never stoped and said, oh wait nevermind we weren't there for womd. Even the government has the balls to say they messed up just a little bit, but that doesn't change anything. What happens when your someone tells their principal that there may be a bomb in the school? The school goes into lockdown and chances are the police are brought in, even if there isn't any bombs in the school. Now wouldn't you think that an evil dicator with all intentive purposes to kill his own people would want to kill more poeple outside his country? Why not send in our armed services to ensure that he doesn't, and then when it is safe to do so, leave the county. Personally I don't think it's safe to leave yet because of two reasons. One, everyone over there will think we gave up, which will be bad because then the insurgents can say they defeated us. And two chances are they will think that our defences will be down and they will attempt to attack us on our own soil. That's why I think it's not safe to come back yet.

The reason that the death tolls have risen so much is directly because of our invasion. It accelerated tensions between factions, etc.

In our four and a half years there, we've caused from two to four times as many deaths as Saddam caused in his, what, 20 year regime?

Well, let's add up just a few of the numbers shall we? Saddam was the direct cause of over 600,000 Iraqi executions. He then killed over 100,000 Kurds with biological weapon testing. Then in a war with Iran he ended up adding another 500,000 deaths to his count. Do the math, 1,200,000 apprximate deaths, under his rule. The total Iraqi death count is over 700,000. That would make around 500,000 death difference here. I realise yes that we have caused the numbers to increase in 4 years as apposed to about a 20 year reign but still, the death count I have is only an approximate amount. Who's to say many more didn't die to his hands that we aren't aware of. In any case, it is not two to four times his death count... it's in fact less.

It's right...If we were not in war, we all would prob. be dead from them killing us...

Yer, plus everyone would be complianing about not going to war and bush not caring about the people of America.

Bush made a wrong descision but he had no other choice he would still not be re ellected

I agree that the Kuwait invasion death counts would add to the total, but the execution amount is believed to be around 250,000.

i dont know what to say iam from iraq:S

Begone foul America let Iraqi's decide what will they do with their country! dont meddling with other countries business!! stop being and thinking like a god cause your not -_-. and justafan your information is wrong.if that is the amount of iraq people dying, then iraq will be half empty now -_-. then the jewish will take over iraqs other half with the help of america.

I live over here in England , Im Black , and know both Whites and Muslims and have no particular racial hatred. I know from firsthand experience that Muslims hate America for what they have done. White Brits also Hate america for what they have done. It all comes down to Tony Blair sucking George Bush off. But now , Gordon Brown is trying to rectify that by campaining tp bring home the UK soldiers from Iraq. There are 500 soldiers dead now that hail from British soil and hes making the right move under pressute

Simple: War is never right.
There is a reason that we have a mouth to speak with, not guns to shoot with.
