We all know about the war in Iraqi and what its about, but do you think its right or wrong?.

As long as they aren't touching my Philippines, i'm fine.

I personally felt that it was a very bad idea to get involved with the middle east in the first place, and now im pissed at all people who were war backers a few years ago who are now anti war. America is nice, but its a little naive

Personally, I think we (America) our trying to go places where we don't belong. It is not our business, we are not the sole protectors of this world. People didn't really help us until damn near the end of the revolution, but what do you expect, (that's France for you)?
They never threatened us. Obviously the CIA's information is fucked up somewhere. Bush's lil Iraqi plan has changed from wep of mass destruction, operation freedom, what next?

And, btw, all this bullshit in the middle east has been going on for damn near 2000 years. Do we really think we can march in and stop it?

The entire war is completely ridiculous. The reasons for invading were but phantoms, and all other justifications we have come up with for the war don't hold up to close scrutiny.

Most of you take your information from the News or bias parents no doubt. Both of those sources aren't good enough. You need to know things the news doesn't have access too. Right now in Iraq the troops are there to kill the fedayeen, the Al Queda forces, and whats left of the Talaban. Fedayeen are "Saddams Men of Sacrifice" and specialized in torture and execution before the war. They deserve to die non the less. The Al Queda is a terrorist organization that has bombed a US Embassy + more so thats another reason. The Talaban supported the attacks of 9/11 and are a terrorist organization - thats their reason. We are not there to kill fucking citizens, we are there to kill THESE particular people who we all know deserve to die from what they have done.

If Australia closed their country to visitors and started executing thousands of people and torture, but NEVER touched us, we would all still haul ass in Australia to fuck up their Prime Minister.

All the groups I just said are in Iraq, therefore thats a good reason to be in there. Also to all of the UK who say why the fuck America attacks Iraq, the UK have been in 3 fucking wars with these people and got their ass' kicked every single time. Also you have troops in Iraq too helping the US =P

I'm not sure if you realize this, but the Taliban is primarily based in Afghanistan.

Deserve to die? Go to the death penalty thread for a detailed discussion of what executing people accomplishes.

Bombed a U.S. embassy? True, if you're referring to Al Qaeda in Iraq, which is actually seperate from the main Al Qaeda group.

There were many people who approved of the 9/11 attacks. Did we invade every single country that was happy? No.

The Taliban is not really a terrorist organization...

Would we? I'm not so sure. We've done nothing about the exact same situation in Sudan.

The U.K. has been three wars with "these people"? I think that you are gravely mistaken.

Also, there are terrorist groups in most countries in the world, some which pose much greater threats than Iraq ever did. Why aren't we in them?

I think its wrong, bush isnt over there for any good reason, and the soliders are dieing because of his greed... plus to them america seems like the terrorists, bush is making america look bad, and soon they might start war on usa... they could still be in possesion of nuclear bombs if so we're screwed....

IMO it was the biggest mistake ever made. Bush stopped chasing after Bin Laden to go after Saddam who said he did not have nuclear weapons, to Bush, ment he DID. So when we get there, we bomb thier civilians, and yet they still do not hand over their weapons of which they do not have. Then we overthrow the government and destroy everything, wow! STILL NO WEAPONS. Oh, yea, but you still murded 150 people, so you are still going to get executed.

He should NOT have been executed. Look at the government of iraq. It always ran with someone with absolute power, and even as bad as it was, It was STILL better then it is now, and it will still be better then then it will be for a good couple of decades. No one in iraq knows how to live under a democracy, no one cared, untill Bush got in there. Im not saying he wasnt a bad man, he was, but he kept iraq under control. We spent Trillions of dollars bombing the hell out of them and this crappy war, and have gained nothing out of it but made thier government corrupt. For years and years, you would be KILLED if you wanted to be leader in IRAQ, what makes bush think that someone will want to now?

To most people it seemed like a good idea at the time, I guess this war is going to be the main Point on which voters choose.

Bush did make a mistake and i'm sure he just wants to help Iraqi

err 2 things

First of all, it's the Iraq war, not the Iraqi war.

second, no. Bush sent the troops there claiming they have WOMDs and guess what, they never found any.

now hes not taking responsibility, and keeping the troops there, because he made a mistake

Better to fight them there then to fight them here, IMO.

I find it ironic that your username is a copy of SOAD's song "Toxicity". The group is extremely anti-bush/anti-war.

And i'm not a democrat or a republican, but i'm not a total asshole. Bush made a smart but cruel decision, going into iraq.

They killed over a million innocent women and children trying to get "terrorists" in Iraq.

Part of the Al Queda fled to Iraq after the invasion of Afghanistan and the Taliban's home city is in Iraq, can't think of the name, but US Recon Marines and some British Special Operators slaughtered them and captured their General.

There are many things in Iraq, Bush does indeed want the oil, in exchange US lives are at stake for the democracy in Iraq. The Iraqi and US Government both approved that. Yes Sudan and many countries in Africa have the same situation, but have nothing in return to give the US. The U.K. has. Back around 30 years ago 16,000 defeated U.K. soldiers marched back to the safe haven of a city (can't think of name) and Afghani soldiers ambushed and killed them all, except for 1 man to let him tell the story. Who almost killed Alexander the Great? An Afghan arrow.. Who stopped Ghangis Khan? The Afghans...These fuckers know how to fight and have been for thousands of years. The only poor bastards that are being slaughtered are local militia that fight against the US. The US have to get permission from Iraqi Governors to do whatever action they chose. If Iraqi's wanted the US gone, they would just ask and we would be gone.

Acutally we went to get thier nuclear weapons of which they do not posses.
First off that was "one" of the many reasons. It was named "Weapons of Mass Destruction". Chemical Ali was dropping chemical bombs on the Shi'ites and many other people killing hundreds of thousands and wiping towns from anything living. That was one of the weapons of mass destruction we were looking for, which we did find the chemical missiles buried by a dam.

The Taliban was the government of Afghanistan. It's home city couldn't be in Iraq.

Around 75% of the Iraqis want us gone, but we're still there...
