    How To Lucid Dream Tonight!

Personally, it took me a few days to get this down.

When I first tried it I would dream, but I wouldn't have complete control; whether it was running away from something but moving at snails pace or being in a cool and fun situation then waking up.

However I found that when I laid with my arms across my chest it "magically" allowed me to have control, not 100% control but I was aware that I was in a dreaming state and could control my surroundings and actions.

For people that find themselves dying or committing suicide during your Lucid Dream state it is perfectly normal for this to happen, and it is because your body isn't used to being in the state so "panics" to get out of it, either that or you're just in an unpleasant situation. I've been in dreams that end up with me being chased and I'll just jump off a tall structure to wake up, it's perfectly normal.

I did this before and went into sleep paralysis. Didn't enjoy it at all.

This is interesting, i'm learning about dreams right now in my psychology course, and the chances of having a lucid dream is less than 5%, will definitely give this a try

It takes practice, it can be a month or so before someone can have one who is just starting out.

This site helped me out loads when I first started out, I can usually LD for nearly an hour every night now. I have a lot fun then :p

Lucid dreams are the rare dreams you get where you know its a dream and you can control it

Basically a LD is a dream but you are aware you are dreaming and can even control what goes on with some practice.

If you practice enough that rare can become common.

Stuff that is going to get you excited like sex and flying through the world / universe is gonna make you giddy and you'll just wake up. Stuff like that takes practice to do, you won't be able to do just start doing that right off the bat.

SP is very common when trying to become lucid in your dreams. Unfortunately, it can also be terrifying. I've had some pretty shit-tier experiences that almost turned me off of lucid dreaming completely.

p,s the little itches you get around your body is testing to see if you're awake still.

Those little itches and tickles you feel are your body's way of making sure you are fully asleep before paralyzing your muscles and entering your mind into the REM state of sleep. It's difficult because they can last for some time, but you must resist!

    How To Lucid Dream Tonight!

I had one experience that wasn't really lucid dreaming but very weird. Everything was in a green tint and I saw myself sleeping in my bed and I was able to walk to the living room and see my mom and brother talking and I was able to hear them. The next day I asked them about the conversation they had which I knew from that weird out of body experience. Was probably the weirdest thing I have experienced yet. One question I have with lucid dreaming is to the people able to do it whenever they sleep do you ever feel like you want to nap during the day or just sleep more often just to experience it more sort of like an addiction?
