    How To Lucid Dream Tonight!

Hey Guys, Lucid dreaming seems to be a hot topic now a days. If you don't know, lucid dreaming is the act of being awake in your dreams and being able to control them just like you would in real life. In these dreams you can do what ever you want, most commonly people want to fly around, explore the world with superman speed, fight bad guys, or even sex

I'll try to make this quick, but I made a guide that's pretty large, but if you want you can view it here - http://howtoluciddreamtonight.org/

Step One - Go To Bed Relaxed and Comfortable In Bed

This step is pretty self explanatory, make sure when you go to bed you will be comfortable the whole night. Along with this, make sure you go to bed without being dead tired, somewhere in the middle of being wide awake and dead tired is ideal.

    Step Two - Imagery
This is when it starts, before you go to sleep you need to think of something with a lot of small details. When I first started I normally visualized my girlfriends face, or my backyard. You need to pick something that you see a lot, and can visualize even the small details. The more in depth you can go with your imagery the better off you will be.

What you need to do, is just close your eyes and imagine this image the best you can. Along with this keep your breathing regular, just try to breath deep and slow.

    Step Three - The Switch/Transition
After about 10-15 minutes of constant thought about your image, and constant breathing you should feel a switch. This switch is hard to explain, but when it happens you will feel it. It feels strange, as if you are now fully awake and aware.

After you have gotten this far, it's easy! After you have felt this switch, it's time to get in your dream! To do this, start to visualize yourself in the same image you have been visualizing the whole time.

Another way is to tell your mind to "separate" this sounds strange but it does seem to work a fair amount of the time.

If you have done everything correctly, you should be in your dream world. Feel free to explore, it's hard to explain stuff in the lucid dream world to people that may not have been there before, so go get to it!

There is so much to this that it's hard for me to explain in this short guide.
You can check out my complete guide here - http://howtoluciddreamtonight.org/

Note - This is my website, I'm not denying this, but it should actually provide information, so it should be alright; I hope!

mmm there's some other things that will greatly help you lucid dream faster. One is having a dream journal.

Whether its your site or not, are you sure you wrote all this yourself? I'm pretty sure I've read this guide before somewhere.

I'm familiar with lucid dreaming but never even attempted it my self.. I'm assuming you've experienced it on your own?
Did it take long to master?

By the way, when you imagine the details is it with oyur eyes closed or open?

I've been meaning to get into it since 2011. I just never manage to start it either through forgetfulness or laziness >.>
It can take a while to master, it can go on from months to years. Some say its something that is easy to learn but not something that can be mastered (or at least in this life >.<)

Use more colors, fonts and font sizes.
Bland guide, and when you link a guide you're summarizing you should pay a bit more attention to covering all of the details. Good effort, just needs some work.

I've tried this before multiple times but every time I get close to going into a "dream state" I get all excited and ruin it for myself so my body snaps out of it. It's annoying. =|

    How To Lucid Dream Tonight!

Yeah... You guys shouldn't get your hopes up thinking you'll be able to begin lucid dreaming at will without any practice or mental preparation. Maybe it is that easy for some people, but I think the majority of us need to do as Laptop said and begin by keeping dream journals. I've only ever had one lucid dream that I can rememeber, but I only became aware after I had died (in the dream), and even then the experience only lasted about 5 minutes. Snce then I've been writing down my dreams as often as I can so hopefully in time I'll be able to achieve lucidity more frequently.

Just remembering and reading through the imagery in our dreams is pretty interesting by itself :)

    How To Lucid Dream Tonight!

Last time I recall lucid dreaming I was running around my town with a bulletproof helmet because the Taliban were taking over, not even sure why this happened really.
Read the post, seems like a great guide if it all works, about to check out your site now :)

Edit: step one on your site you've a typo, "and you shouldn't be yawning every feel seconds.", just thought I'd let you know ;)

I can make it to the "Switch" point, but if I move I feel a jolt throughout my body, and completely wake up.

Interesting. Does this only work during a full night's sleep or can it work say, for a daytime nap?

Also, what is a dream journal used for?

    How To Lucid Dream Tonight!

Any sleep really. Although in the last part of your night sleep is best. There is a method where you wake yourself up, do something for 30 mins, then go back to sleep and supposedly 'dream' back to sleep.

And a dream journal is used for recording your dreams in. Its useful for dream recall which helps you remember your dreams and figuring out what dream signs work best for you to become lucid.

    How To Lucid Dream Tonight!

Good guide man. Personally, I don't want to lucid dream as I hear people do this and never wake up, or as if some spirit controls their body when they reach spirit world or w/e.
Saw this in a movie, just forgot the name.
