    Homosexuality a choice?

Homosexuality is kind of both. I'll try to explain it to you. Heterosexual females/males have larger cells in their brain than the homosexual males/females. In theory you could tell by an infant brain scan and the size of the cells that your child might have a higher chance of being homosexual. The environment also has a large role in sexual orientation. Think of sexual orientation like personality, it's shaped by genetics AND environment.

    Homosexuality a choice?

Everyone is attracted to something different, that's why debates over "Hottest girl" is always different. Because everyone is attracted to something different, that's why everyone is uniquely different.
    Everyone is attracted to someone.
So I think being gay is not a choice and they were born with an attraction to the same sex.
    This doesn't mean their disabled.

Homosexuality isn't a disability.... it's a preference. The question is are you born like that or is it something you choose. Which of course, is a bit of both.

I didn't say it was a disability, I just said they've got a different attraction.

After all, we're all different; right?

We ARE all different, no one person is raised the same. I say just leave it alone because 1 should not be excluded for their orientation, we are all humans.

I agree with you, I personally don't put down gays.

Just because they're attracted to something different, they've got feelings like us.

    Homosexuality a choice?

We are so internalized to believe that straight is the way to go and that marriage is defined between man and woman. We are so stubborn to believe that we aren't rich, poor, gay, straight, white, black. We are humans and we should treat each other like humans.

    Homosexuality a choice?

I think it's a choice, because I think in a society where people were raised differently and were just never even exposed to that sort of things, they would grow up liking girls like everybody else.

I don't agree with homosexuality, but I'd fight for your right to be gay.

    Homosexuality a choice?

You base what you find attractive in females on your experience and your environment.
We pretty much base our definition of attraction based on what the media portrays.
Based on these FACTS I am willing to believe that people become homosexuals as a product of their environment.

    Homosexuality a choice?

Funny, funny, a few years back, the gay straight alliance at my school talked about this. They claimed that you were born with homosexuality. I was actually surprised because I expected them to say that it was a choice. In my personal opinion, it is a choice. You could be attracted to the opposite sex sometimes, you could be attracted to the same sex. It's honestly based on you, it's not because of genetics, it's only a personal choice. Most homosexuals that I know actually chose to be homosexual. So I kinda doubt that people are born with it.

    Homosexuality a choice?

I personally believe that some people are born homosexual, but some are also born with tendencies and their environment/interactions in life lead them towards becoming a homosexual in the future.

UNIMPORTANT/UNRELATED BUT YOU GET 10 POINTS IF:
10 points to anyone that can tell me the name of this one movie about a teacher living in some little town and he's about to get married. One of his students became an actor and when he is getting an award he talks about that teacher being an inspiration, then adds in that the teacher is gay.

The end of the movie the teacher realises he is gay.

Random movie but yeah, 10 points if someone can tell me the name.

    Homosexuality a choice?

There cant be any choice, choice implies that you can control your feelings.

You don't choose to be heterosexual if you like females, so you cant choose to be homosexual either, it happens naturally.

    Homosexuality a choice?

You don't choose to be homosexual, you just are. I myself am homosexual (don't care what you think) and I just don't feel attracted to women. I didn't choose that way.

    Homosexuality a choice?

So you can't choose whether or not you like men/women? What?

I personally believe it's a choice. You choose to like what you like.

I don't think you're just born with these desires implanted in your brain as if you have no say in the matter. I used to like ketchup, then I hated ketchup, now I like it again. I choose to do so.

    Homosexuality a choice?

So one day you decided, "You know what? I'm gonna hate ketchup".

You're also going to tell me you could randomly decide, "Hey, I wanna be sexually attracted to men (or women if you are already attracted to men)" and you would legitimately have that sexual attraction?
