[Guide] How to induce lucid dreams [Guide]

You forgot to mention while having a lucid dream you usually do not feel temperature as it should be. If you are having a dream in your house go up to something that should be cold like the freezer and grab something. It will not feel any different. I have lucid dreams often and the way I determine I am in one is I usually either have extremely blurred vision, or temperature and taste is distorted.

I had one last night, and I determined I was in it by as i explained opening up the fridge and grabbing an ice cube. The temperature in my hand did not change. After that I did some pretty crazy things, but you sometimes forget you are in a lucid dream too. After I got out of my house and started driving to my friends house I completely forgot I was dreaming. I got there and something sparked to me that I was having a dream again.

Usually in my lucid dreams though I only have a short period to do what I want before I either forget i am dreaming or am in half sleep. Where I know I am sleeping and I try to dream so I can have a lucid dream but everything is to distorted for me to do anything.

    Lucid dreams?
    Hmm isnt it black out?

Yep i definetly had one lucid dream, i was on a camp whith my class and me and my class m8s were playing poker. From no where i couldnt concentrate, i really couldt, i was really fucking stressed out and i didnt know what to do. When i went to bath i didnt feel the water, thought it was cold. And my friends didnt recognize me, they thought i was a strange person. That day, was the most fucking freaked out day of my life, when i looked up in the sky i could see airplanes all over the air, and the airplanes wasnt normal ones, they were aliens?

[Guide] How to induce lucid dreams [Guide]

I've tryed inducing lucid dreams myself, ive read about it online. It's tough, but it can be done.

Yes, I doser does help out somewhat, i just reccomend when using i doser, DO NOT have anyone bother you whilst your in the state of hearing obsound noise, been reports of heart attacks from people being scared while using i-doser. Also dim the lights in your room, do not have it completely black or very bright. have no distractions. Empty your mind, take your mind completely off of everything.

When i use i-doser to relax on weekends, I get my room completely spotless so you feel in a better environment. Then i get everything set up the way it needs to be. I lie down on my bed, put a LIGHT SOFT blanket over me and just stare at the ceiliing. After 10 minutes you completely forget that the noise is playing, then you get tired, then you fall asleep and, Wa-La lucid dream.

Very nice guide very detailed, Thank you :)

So much sleep illegularity (sp)...doesn't sound very healthy...

Great guide none the less. Possibly throw in some scientific information about lucid dreaming?

Seems quite a hardship just for a few dreams, To mess up your whole sleeping.

Doesn't seem very worth it to me, But if it works, then i have to give credit to you for explaining to us how to, as im sure some people will try.

[Guide] How to induce lucid dreams [Guide]

Here's my answer to your question [:
    Yes and no
    DMT (Dimethyltryptamine)
is natrually produced by your body, just in a small form. The reason you don't remember most your dreams is because they are likely not happening as strongly as you may remember/imagine a dream being like, Sometimes you hadn't seen anything at all. That is because when your body releases DMT it's what triggers your mind to dream.

Now you ask, How could you get a lucid dream then?
Well, if DMT is released and your brain skips a thinking step, it tells your body to go to sleep. But did it tell your mind to go to sleep yet? No, And then when the DMT chemical reaches your brain, you dream without technically sleeping or at least being in the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) stage. Thus letting you dream semi-responsive.

One of the functions of the pineal gland is the production of melatonin. The pineal gland and melatonin help regulate sleep-wake cycles (circadian rhythms). The production of melatonin by the pineal gland is stimulated by darkness and inhibited by light.

So also, it is beter to sleep in a completely black room, not small lights from your cellphone charger, nothing.

(Why do people do drugs then?)

Pure DMT is a solid made up of crystals it can be white, pink, or orange in color. When it is injected or smoked, the effects can be felt very quickly and the majority of effects are gone within an hour of ingestion. When DMT is consumed orally with an MAOI (such as when drinking ayahuasca), the effects are milder but they may last as long as six hours.

    Beter trips, thats why.

DMT Is found in things such as
    Wild Mushrooms(Shroomz [:)
    Sometimes Dot/Microdot/Liquid Microdot (Acid)

Not many legal things anymore, as it is 100% proven to be hallucinogenic.

Hope this was helpful and maybe even gets added on to the thread.
Correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure this is correct.

[Guide] How to induce lucid dreams [Guide]

I have only had 1 vivid lucid dream in my entire life and it was when I was around 7 years old. After I was 10 I couldn't even remember my dreams anymore. Lucid dreams are on of the coolest things i've experienced. Mine was about me and a Judie from Spy Kids. We were in a Wal-Mart when two agents began chasing us and so we stole a Go-Kart and began a high-speed chase down the highway. Then we used rocket shoes to fly onto a plane. Unluckily enough though, The agents were there again.

The best part though, I was controlling every part of the dream. It was like the best 3D virtual reality game that could possibly ever happen. I could only wish that I could experience another lucid dream now that my brain is more mature.

Also I have heard that scientists are working on a way to induce lucid dreams, this way artists can just think of a painting and a certain mood and viola a painting will appear, then they wake up and paint it.

[Guide] How to induce lucid dreams [Guide]

    This is from wikipedia:
A lucid dream is a dream in which the person is aware that they are dreaming while the dream is in progress, also known as a conscious dream. When the dreamer is lucid, they can actively participate in and often manipulate the imaginary experiences in the dream environment. Lucid dreams can be extremely real and vivid depending on a person's level of self-awareness during the lucid dream.

Well I had a dream where it was outside my house (this was like 5 years ago) and there was this big, massive tent (which was an actual tent we used with our church once). Well I was with some people (including two people who lived next door to me, and I told them that I knew I was dreaming, and the only way to get away from the vampires (oh yeh... there were vampires in the tent trying to burn us in a coffin of fire) was for me to wake up. So for some reason we ran around the tent for ages trying to get away from them.

Now this dream didn't feel like I was completely conscious (spelling) but I knew that I was dreaming. Is this a lucid dream?

I've had lucid dreams before. Having a lucid dream is different than controlling your actions in the dream.

My lucid dreams often put me in New York City being chased by dinosaurs all night.

I think I may have had one before, but really; it didn't seem as glorified as you made it out to be,

    nevertheless, decent guide.

[Guide] How to induce lucid dreams [Guide]

Hey man i got a question for you. I was researching the cerebellum in school awhile back for a topic. It controls your coordination of the muscles. Correct me if im wrong but the flocconodular then controls your eye movement. If your in sleep paralysis why would you be able to control your eye movement but not anything else? I dont know if you know what im talking about lolz. Plus not to be offense or anything but isnt what your talking about R.E.M and what are the differences if there not the same? Lastly id like to tell you guys one of my dreams when i was 6. This is no lies its messed up i think this is a lucid dream. I was in my dream and i was at mcdonalds for some reason and for some reason a giant big mac starts chasing me and bottles start chasing me to scared the shit out of me lolz. Definatley the last thing :p Are nightmares usually lucid dreams and if not what are they classified as?
