Giving scammers a second chance.

Once scammed they will scam again most likely, I've been scammed in the past never trust them again.

On topic, If it took place on Sythe eh... yea the no but if they were a scammed a couple people on RS, well I believe everyone should get 1 chance on Sythe and thats it, You fuck up well you lose the privilege of being able to have access the greatness this site has.

 

No. Once you have had intentions of scamming, you won't stop until you get your own way. Which no-one gets their own way in the end, so the scamming will continue till there is no-one else left to scam. Scammers deserve to be banned, and never to return.

 

if the scammer returns the money to every single person, i dont see the harm in giving them a second chance.

 

Return 125% of what they took, then maybe.

 

In my opinion, giving a scammer a second chance is like letting another person get scammed, well that's just in my opinion, you may have a different look at at it but...

 

Most scammers come on here just to scam. Why would anyone give them another chance?

Personally I believe once a scammer, always a scammer. Shouldn't get a second chance to steal from another legit Sythe member.

 

once they have scammed they should be perm banned and ip banned
so we dont get scammed again

A scam is a scam. The intentions are the same, free money.

 

I used to play runescape when i was young, infact i still do now.
I got scammed out of a blue mask which i worked basically a hole year for.
As I was young i fell for his tricks.

If a scammer can destroy a childs happiness then he has no mercy and he should never, ever be given a second chance.

I have learnt from being scammed like that and I have prevented myself from being scammed now. I have been trading and gaming for 8 years or so now and I am 18 now so I guess I am pretty mature. If people game or trade for as long as I have they will eventually fall for some kind of trap.

I kinda rabbled on a bit but what I am saying is, there are scammers everywhere and we should eradicate them from sythe. (never going to happen)

 

It's not like we know the people irl and can tell whether they have "reformed". They shouldn't be given a second chance.

 

You just can't generalise and say once a scammer always a scammer. Some people will change when they mature. Some people always have the intent to scam. I don't think scamming should ever be worthy of a second chance on this site.

 

If a scammer is given a second chance they should have a title that marks them making it so that way people know not to go first with them.

I understand theres that trade with caution title, but it seems to be an overlooked and underused title.
