Give away Scammer's and Vader's Sythe assets.

The Suggestion
People who are banned can have their Sythe assets given away: Sythe Gold, mini ranks, and fun ranks. Fun ranks as in ranks like mudkip. Not competition winner or mod ranks.

For scammers: assets will be given to the person that was scammed

For ban evaders: assets will be given to the person that caught them

Why though?
I think this would be a good way to partially compensate scam victims as a "GG, Sorry you got scammed" gift. Also, would promote detective activity for catching high profile ban evaders.

In my opinion, banned users/DNT should have all their Sythe assets cleared anyway, not just their ranks. If some someone applies to have their ban revoked and DNT evoked, which is pretty rare, they can have their earned nontradeable assets back.

What about people that come back after a ban?
Of course, this action would be nullified on things like precautionary bans and temporary bans. But most other banned users come back as DNT and after an extended period of time. So the giving away of their assets is an addition to the consequences of their actions.

I no longer believe funranks should be taken away. Even ones that don't represent any ranks. However, I still do believe tradeable miniranks and Sythe gold should be automatically given to the victim.

Would encourage more scammers on sythe from my perspective. Although there is too many already though.

 

Being banned/DNT is already enough punishment for most scammers/infractors. Also, doing this would demotivate banned/DNT users from paying their debts and returning to the community.

Gonna go with no support. There are people who have scammed and have pardoned and are now legitimate users of this site. There's no reason to take away their minis/sythe gold etc, either way with DNT none of that is even visible

DNT isn't that rare of an occasion, and by nontradeable assets you mean what? Sythe gold and miniranks are both tradeable

 

I mean, getting DNT and their ban cleared is rare. And untradeable earned assets like SOTM mini, Competition winner rank, verified elo, verified discord, etc

 

ah okay that makes more sense, but if someone has their DNT and Ban cleared then they should just keep what they had before, that's just my take on it though

No support. @Sythe has specifically mentioned multiple times that a banned/DNT users 'assets' are a form of, (forgotten the word) a way to keep DNT interested.. an incentive for DNT to get unbanned so they can repay victims quicker/pardon quickly.
I'm pretty sure this won't happen as a result of the need to have an incentive for DNTs.

If DNTs win say cash prizes through CDT events, if they have a debt to repay it would most likely go towards repayment. If they win say miniranks from events, they have something to look forward to, but because their DNT it doesn't show until successfully pardoned.

Support, give assets to the victim

 

No support it will over complicate the return process of the user who scams. Say their stuff gets given to a victim, they feel as though there debuts paid of etc. I do support it in the case when someone scams a dice duel debut, people can have the option to either be repaid if they return/via the random victims being refunded or take all there mini ranks.
