[DENIED] Allow autobumpers for middleman threads

Please make it an exception to the rule.

I am available most of the time to middleman sales, however I'm a very forgetful person and so I forget to bump my middleman thread most of the time.

You could potentially block post count in this section.

Don't see any down side to this.

 

There is no personal gain in it for me and never will be, but I see your point.

I'm on my computer most of the time lately, so I'm active to middleman nearly 12 hours per day. However, for some reason I always forget to bump my thread. I have an account for sale that I can't wait to get rid of, but I just forget to bump it lmao peepodepressed

 

Sounds like there are 12 hours that you would be offline for which your auto-bumper is advertising your service.

 

We could use that logic anywhere tbh i forget to bump my accounts topics too, and im always selling them. Does this mean i should be allowed to use it too?

 

No support, sorry. Feels like a personal problem, not one that warrants an auto bumper for the whole section. You could also argue that MMs who aren’t actually available have their threads bumped, causing more confusion for people looking for active/online MMs

Also the main reason I was saying specifically the middleman section is because it's used to help others, while other market fora are mainly used for personal gain..

No support, this would just make it harder for a customer needing a middleman, to find an active middleman through all of the inactive ones who are just auto-bumping their threads while not actually being available at the time to provide the service.

This would likely solve your issue once implemented.

 

Why though? You will still have the same issues where people won't be online and will be bumping their threads. There is no reason for someone to be advertising a service/product while they are unable to deliver at the time of the post going up.

There are already bump assist tools which can remind people when to bump their threads.

This wouldn't be any different from the market threads at all. MM market is still used for personal gain through vouches and eventually OMM.

 

Support, promotion of middlemen has nothing to do with the market or abuse or anything else, they protect the community

 

Kanye spelled it out I think. However, I think hahanerds suggestion is a good one to support your cause.

it’s a hit or miss as it can still potentially be abused and used for some gain.. Personally I think just talking in the discord is the easiest method.
