The legality of marijuana really has no effect on its usage. Legalizing it would only decrease gang violence and increase tax revenue. Police don't even care about recreational marijuana usage (provided you live in a non shithole).

Show me someone who becomes "extremely violent" after smoking marijuana (that is, someone who doesn't have mental disorders etc). Loads of people are "extremely violent" after consuming alchohol. Some people are just fucking angry no matter what.

Marijuana couldn't be legalized solely for the fact that it couldn't be taxed like the government would want it to be. You would still get it from your dealers and whatnot without taxes applying.

Most illegal drugs have many positive benefits but they're abused by people who want to just 'get high'.

 

i agree people do smoke pot, just to get high but then there are still alot of medical patients that do need it for medicinal uses.
