well said the whole reason why marijuana was banned was because it was protested against a mayor or something that owned a paper making company and hemp was badly bashed and frowned uppon.

 

think about what you're saying before you say it. most of your points make no sense.. if all drugs were legal, there would be no harder drugs for the drug lords to move on to.. and do you realize how much worse off society was during the prohibition? trust me if the automobile industry was as big back then as it is now, there would be just as many drunk drivers. and honestly in some ways weed can make you more of a safe driver. a good quote: "Drunk drivers run stop signs, high drivers wait for it to turn green"

theres is a reason some things should never be legal example a reason gambling is only aloud in Nevada and tribe land in usa it ruins peoples lives and goes against religion of many people , my "source" for this information is me i grew up my whole life my parents working in casinos my dad currently runs a casino and i have heard many horror storys of people that where once millionaires who gambled it all away within months on the up side people like that pay for my laptop and xbox

It's been proven that people are going to use drugs regardless of the legality, what a lot of people don't realize is that if drugs are legalized and regulated, they are actually harder get your hands on. Look at alcohol, it's legal, but it's ALWAYS been harder for me (and any other typical teenager) to get than weed, acid, shrooms, even a fucking gun (not anymore considering I'm almost the drinking age, and a good majority of my friends are above it). If no drugs were prohibited, weed would be just as much of a gateway drug as alcohol.

When You Start Prohibition you give up all Regulations. Its extremely easy for me to get Crack or Meth but I cant get a cigarette because I'm 18. You understand now? Once they legalize it They can control it. Until then we will be struggling with the drug problem forever.

 

I recently took a break from smoking but marijuana actually has more benefits than negatives but surprisingly its still illegal hopefully once they realize it can help with taxes they'll legalize it.

 

Acid and meth are hardly comparable. That's not what happens on LSD at all, and I'm not going to defend meth. There are indeed some fucked up drugs out there, but that doesn't give the government the right to tell the human race what they can and cannot do with their bodies. What does the law control, plants? Pills? Powder? No, it controls you.

 

Honestly I'm tired of the same threads on marijuana. Some pothead kid comes round here and wants people to agree with him so he can be like "yeahhhhhhhhh d0000000d, st0ners 4 lyfe!! <3".

I don't think it should be legalized, too many dumb mother fuckers out there, but on the other hand they will do it anyways, so why not legalize and impose a tax on it so that we can get out of our fucking 14 trillion dollar debt.
